Hey guys. Hope everyone is well today.

This deal is mainly for the Compact short bed version. There is a Full Size Short Bed (5.5' - 5.8') version but that is $160.89. Best prices for the two according to the camels. Did a quick google and these prices do seem really good.

I posted the deal for the short compact version yesterday in the forums and the stock is still sitting at 10 so it's probably safe to put as a regular deal.

  Why would anyone buy one of these? When I go camping, I don't want to unpack the ute and then put a tent up in the tray, then pull down the tent every time I want to drive somewhere. Just get a regular tent and set it up on the ground. It would be a pain in the arse getting in and out of this tent in the tray.

    You could probably collapse the tent and pull over the tray cover. The shortness only makes it useful for kids and midgets. Target market could be juvenile car thieves?

      Well there are full size ones but they are their regular (expensive) price. If anything I just put this post up so that people can see that these things exist. I didn't know these were a thing.

    I reckon it would be alright in a pinch if you ever had to line up like we saw during the height of the pandemic. Imagine being in line with something like this while all the other suckers have to sleep sitting up. Could backfire and have your tires slashed though…

  I've actually got a tail gate tent set up for the back of my ute which has a cabin. If you can handle the climb in its actually pretty good- there's electricity, solid walls, single or double bed can fit, only takes a couple min to setup and pull down. All you gotta do is make sure you park on fairly level ground and you're g2g.
