  • how does this compare to little giant megamax sold at Costco?

    • Yeah, would be great to hear from people about this. I guess one clear bonus is the wheels for some users, and the Costco version usually comes with a platform as well.

I believe the Little Giant was rated 150kg. From convenience point of view (subjective), Little Giant's rocker mechanism may be superior to Bailey's J locks

        • Good point, thanks!

Yooo I have this exact model
And paid 319 via my local wholesaler and I thought even then it was a great price.

I can recommend. Bloody great sturdy ladder.

    • Hey mate, could you take a measurement of the width of yours if it's handy? I'm trying to figure out if this ladder could get me up into my roof void.
My access hole is quite small at about 55cm wide. https://www.baileyladders.com.au/products/ladders/multi-ladd… the bailey site says the flared width of the ladder is 63cm, but it doesn't say how wide the non-flared bit is, I'm hoping it might be just less than 55cm :)

        How about diagonally?
        .

        • That'd probably work actually. I also realised that setting it up as a tall step ladder would probably work better anyway, 2.2m gets me almost to the ceiling. So many options with this ladder.

Not at home but I can check later if drama

Diagonally should be ok. Or step yeah

        • +1

No need to check now, I bought the ladder anyway. Even with $50 shipping it's cheaper than anything else.

  • With the extension ladder that is 2.74->4.5, does that mean when you extend it, there are various lengths between you can lock to between those heights?

    • Correct

  • Thanks OP. Been looking for a ladder to replace a sensor light in the backyard that is about 3m+ and my current ladder isn't long enough. Perfect!

  • Thanks for posting. Just ordered one at the reduced price in Cairns.

  • I was eyeing this off the other day at full price. Gonna have to buy this! Thanks OP.

    • Slightly different concept, and likely poorer construction. I have a similar one to the kogan that i bought from kmart ten years ago as an inside ladder and it is fine but i wouldn't use it fully extended to climb a tree

    Stepladder, I'm stuck

  • Showing $329 in 2575 NSW oddly.

I got a text a couple days ago saying its been dispatched to my local bunnings, nothing further yet.
