Waiting on a MFC-L2750DW deal. I need the single pass - double sided scanning

    • Same here, but I think they have introduced newer models now. On OW, I cant see older models.

    • Brother MFC-L2880DW is the newest mono laser double-sided scanning model. You can find it for about $277 with delivery.

    • What is the difference between this and the one you mentioned
      ?

    $209 at Centre Com

  • HP used to rule the space, but Brother asked them to hold its beer and got on with things

Brother is what i buy and recommend to people looking for a reliable cheap mono laser

Cant be beat, been that way for years now

  • single-pass duplex scanning

What does this mean if it isnt double sided scanning?

    • whoops, I think I copied the wrong review. the Rtings site groups multiple models into the same webpage.

This or the Brother HL-L2375DW for $99?

    • Answer depends on whether you want to scan / photocopy documents or not.

The Brother HL-L2375DW can only print. No flatbed scanner and no automatic document feeder (ADF scan).

      • Thanks. That explains the price difference. More functions equal higher cost.

Been watching for 2375DW, may i know where is the $99?

      • Officeworks

      • I saw it at Elizabeth Street Officeworks in Melbourne. Clearance tag so YMMV. Good luck!

      • It's actually $100, not $99. Not sure why I thought it was $99…

  • I was going to buy it until i saw this on the Amazon listing :

Date First Available ‎3 December 2017

I'll pay 50 dollars, no more

    • You can buy the MFC-L2800DW which was first released in Sept 2023 for $269 from Officeworks. However I found that this newer printer is basically identical to the MFC-L2730DW and it is actually worse than the old model in some areas:

      1. slower print speed (32 ppm)
      2. Does not have a color touch screen. It's using old school LED lit buttons and a 2-line monochrome display.

And yes, I bought the MFC-L2800DW. Honestly as long as the printer works, the cartridges continue to be available for you to buy and there is warranty behind it I'm not sure there is a need to chase after the latest models.

  • I can also recommend as a good to have for home use.
It has come in handy many times to be able to scan bills or documents for print things over its life
I have had the MFC-L2700DW for many years. (since 2014) and the only issue apart from the speed is the LCD is pretty meh.
It is wifi / ethernet capable and you can connect to if from your phone via an app which is handy when you're scanning because you can reorder the pages / rotate etc.

  • deal expired even though it should end tomorrow.
