I price match this deal at TGG, and pay $149 for the 5-year Gold Service Extras.
After this, I will receive 3x $20 TGG GCs into my Digital Wallet for the next 5 years.
Lets say I spend all m GCs on buying 4x AA Eneloops (with change left over).
How are they making any money out of this?@DoctorCalculon: I think extra warranty is a game of maths (as it’s usually provide by an 3rd party insurance provider). They calculate the probability of a claim and as long as it falls under a certain percentage of ND, they are making money.

Furthermore, they know that most non-diligent customers will simply forget to claim the GCs that are credited to their Digital Wallet within the expiry dates.
However, if you are a diligent customer (e.g. an OzBargainer) and claim all your GCs before they expire, or make a warranty claim, either way you come out ahead. Unless, I am missing something?
