Acer Nitro XZ6 38.5" 170Hz WQHD VA Gaming Monitor $429 + Delivery (Was $549) @ Scorptec

30

First post here, I've had my eye on a couple 16:9 monitors above 35 inches. I haven't seen this one fall below $500 since I discovered it earlier this year. Centrecom have it as well:https://www.centrecom.com.au/acer-nitro-xz6-385-wqhd-170hz-curved-gaming-monitor

I've decided against an OLED since I WFH 3 days a week and don't want to risk burn-in. Fast refresh rate, seems like a decent all-around monitor for gaming, productivity, content consumption.

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2023

1440p at that size would be a stretch

    • Can you recommend anything that 4k and ultra wide for gaming?

Don't think there is any true 4K ultrawides for gaming atm. You could probably find some 5K2K screens, but they're usually studio monitors

  • ONLY 2560x1440 (UWFHD 2560x1080 in 21:9) RATIO

    • yeah not sure why Scorptec is advertising it as an ultrawide

      • It's actually Acer themselves marketing it as an UW for some crazy reason?
