    It's the best steamer I've had. My previous model was with the clear plastic tubs and it was a toy compared to this. The Tefal is solid and easy to clean. I've been using it several times a week for about 4 years. No hesitation recommending it.

      But the water reservoir is plastic so essentially still harmful plastics in the steam that's steaming the food.

  The steamer I've used for years has plastic baskets… not something I ever thought was an issue until now! And I use it almost daily. I'm curious - does this steamer have a plastic water reservoir? And the tray that sits between the water and the first stainless steel basket? Is that an issue?
