    • People usually keep ordering until something went wrong LMAO.

  • I took up a $2 bonus slot on Shopback. But iy says all claimed.

Will i still get the $2 if i go through shopback?

    • +2

This is a Cashrewards cashback not Shopback

    • No this is cashrewards

      • SB has an active Boost profit offer, less than CR but @tunzafun001 is asking about the SB challenge and would they qualify if they go ahead with an SB order.

Sorry tunza I don't know as SB challenges have gotten weird, I've qualified both the boost $2 challenges and I cannot see whats left, in the past you just needed to activate but now it is join.
But I'd guess if it's saying all claimed it's to late.

        • +1

          That's it …you got it.
I guess I'm asking does 'all claimed' mean opt in spots (which I got one), or actual claims?

Guess I just buy sims from both teams regardless…that is the way!

          • @tunzafun001: Still profit regardless of the challenge, yeah go for it as you may still qualify having joined(I just don't know lately w/ the changes to challenges at SB)

it's odd, i buy through SB and get the something wrong error, buy through cashrewards and seems to work just fine. Not sure why, it's find it really odd.

As usual " SORRY, SOMETHING WENT WRONG

We’re sorry but we’re experiencing technical issues. Please try again later."

Feel so pissed even trying to claim offer and waste time, should have just ignored it like last $6 one.

boost never allows to buy again now

    • Yup, tried all my new tricks from last 3-4 days which worked but today all flopped

      • +1

        what tricks?

        • being a completely new customer and pray xD

          • @Bii: What about using a new IP, would it be possible that you've been red flagged for using the same IP everytime?

            • @G4mbito: good point re IP
and i heard amazon can identify your hardware as well and red flagged people doing free trials

            • @G4mbito: They do use a number of identifiers not just relying on IP address alone….changing it could help but not in isolation.

          • +1

@Bii: maybe do plastic surgery and get new passport???
            ups watching too much movies

            • @CyberMurning: lmao, plastic surgery isn't necessary, unless they start implementing Facial ID checks which only a few companies do right now.

              • @nsingh21: but do it now is a good excuse if i want to get better girl friends, right?

                • +1

                  @CyberMurning: for you, maybe :P

                  • @nsingh21: Ok and how about using a different device (laptop or tablet) PLUS using a different IP (VPN) then?

                    • @G4mbito: No mate, after my 1st block, I was able to put through multiple orders on the same device, but I've changed IP each time. I wouldn't recommend VPN as fraud protection (security) systems will try to detect VPN and block your transaction anyway. Use of VPN is generally associated with high risk; although I haven't tried with Boost, and won't bother trying either.

Tips for this sort of deal:
      - Never expect much in the first place to avoid disappointing
      - Once hit "SOMETHING WENT WRONG" just skip to avoid wasting time
      - Spend 1-2 minutes reading other "SOMETHING WENT WRONG" comments
      - Remember even Mods can't explain/do much about it. Ozbers deserve to know more of the reasons behind why they got blacklisted

        - At the end of the day realise this is essentially Telstra and Telstra's IT implementation has always been deranged

  • ordered. thx OP

  • bought 4x through the cash rewards app. received a tracked successfully email immediately after. only time I hit the something went wrong error was when I put the wrong credit card details in

    • You are right!! I put in the wrong credit card yesterday and since then I’ve been getting the error message. How did you get around this?

  • Did 2x via the browser but now am getting errors

  • Have anyone gotten this approved?

    Mine says:
    September 19th
    Estimated approval: 24/12/2023 (~27 days)
    Total spent: AUD$17.00
    PENDING

Not touching any other Boost deals until this resolves

    • +1

No, it'd be approved by the end of this month.

August's Boost purchases were approved 31/10/2023.

    • +2

September's Boost purchases have just been approved.

      • $101.35 to my bank account now

        • I submitted my withdrawl request about 10am AEDT, not come through yet but I usually expect it next day.

          • @wavesgreen: Yay $438

            • +1

@Turd: Wow, lucky you could order that many. Mine is $34.95 and I already got something wrong in Oct and Nov. Haven't reached 35 limit and can't buy at the moment

      • Thanks, just checked and it was approved.

    "SORRY, SOMETHING WENT WRONG"

Got this a couple of times in the last hour - tried different address, card, IP, name - no joy. Only 10 minutes left - giving up.

  • Hi all, got a question here. I just bought a sim card amd tried it on Iphone 11 pro max, but for some reason it has no data. I tried it on samsung s23 and it works fine. Is it because boost doesn't support older phones?

    • No it would definitely work in an iPhone 11. Have a look at your carrier settings, they might need manually updating.

    • I'm running a 2017 midrange Moto, no issues with Boost

  • Might just be me but after hitting the "something went wrong" error, I was able to complete my orders with no issues by clicking from CR or SB app, on multiple occasions.

  • September cashback for boost has been approved!

  • Just wondering for those who didn't activate the Sep purchase, did you still get the cashback?

    • Aug or Sept I left 5 unactivated and they where all approved, do so at your own risk, YMMV.
Apparently they are cracking down on unactivated ones.

      • Thanks. I activated a few late and hopefully will be paid next month.
Won't be activating for a while as I can't get out of "something wrong"

        • Activation errors at least generally seem to be gotten around by going through chat. A lot of people have reported that anyway.

          • @wavesgreen: Sorry miscommunication. I can't buy due to something wrong so won't be activating for a while.
I also had something wrong when activating recently and had to use chat to activate

  • Just to confirm how you go about activating this SIM/multiple boost SIM card via boost when already on the boost network? Does linking a new boost SIM override your old SIM?

  • Has anyone experienced serious reception issues/outage with Boost in Sydney CBD for the past month or so? I was so shocked at how bad it has been from about a week from the Optus outage.

    • Yes! I noticed it was particularly bad there but also whenever I’m on a call I can’t access my data…
