    • I'm confused; you linked to the 8 camera bundle. Is there a different bundle this code is applicable to?

Edit: Just realised you choose the bundle size at the bottom. The ~$1,183 price is for a 6 camera bundle, even though the product page shows 8 cameras.

      • Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have just noticed that the product image depicts 8 cameras.

Can I remove sim card of Reolink Go Plus 4G LTE (or PT plus) after initial set up, to just using to record to SD card? I want to use it only to record SD card. I am not going to use my phone (I will use reolink client windows desktop) notification, live stream, email or phone alert etc. only recording to SD card. Night vision distance how many meter to detect car/van/ute?

    Any reviews?

Alternatively, cheaper on Reolink Ebay Plus with code BF22AU at $1,128.99.

      Isn't it $1,058.88.

      $1,357.54 x 78% (additional 22% off) = $1,058.88

      • Confirmed as I just made this purchase:

        https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/393152899467?epid=8051887441&has…

Had to join Ebay Plus to get the additional 2% off but $27.15 extra off for $9.99 and then get it for the rest of the year.

Oppps you're righ with this listing for 6 cams.

        • +1

Thanks for the post anyway, wasn't aware of the price being lower on Ebay when stacked with the coupon code.

            • @m9: But it seems the one OP posted is different model with colour night vision and has 4tb HDD. The ebay one has 2tb HDD and no information about the colour night vision.

              • +1

@viki8702: Same cameras but you're right about the HDD size.

@MatD88 The HDD size might be different as pointed out by viki8702

                • +2

@m9: The other diffence other than 6 cameras and smaller HDD is that the ebay listing is for a 8 Channel NVR (the one from Reolink directly is 16 channel).

                  • @soupratt: You're right and I missed the HDD part, but knew about the different NVR.

I only wanted 6 camera's so I'm OK with that, and I will never need more than 8, as 6 is already ample, I only had 4 on the last system. This includes the extra channels in the NVR - it has no use to me.

Shame about the extra HDD space, but I only wanted to spend $1K so already went over that.

A good deal though when you compare the bigger HDD, larger capacity NVR & extra 2 camera's for around $300 more.

8 CH/6 CAM bundle is cheaper in A1 Electric Toys.

          https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/295507596907

          $1018.36 with code BF22AU

  • I just need nvr, any deals?

    • try the 'refurb' section - often some great deals in there
      eg. https://reolink.com/refurbished-products/

      • +1

Thanks mate, I actually keep forgetting that page exists. Thank you

        • am thinking of getting the 16ch NVR on its own myself actually…. i have a bunch of single units i picked up from OzB posts few months back

      • Just note with refurbs that there's different versions of the same 8ch or 16ch NVRs. The refurb ones do not support 12MP cameras, only the older 8MP ones.

        • thanks yup - the one i'm looking at is same as this deal : RLN16-410 so suits the purpose

  • Far out I just bought 2 of these kits for $1552.99 each 2 days ago and they were just shipped today.

Does 30-Day Money Back Guarantee mean I can return for free and buy again or can difference be refunded?

    • You would hope the latter for everyones benefit.

    • For any post-sales inquiries, please contact [email protected]. :)

  • hey Rep, is this avail on Amazon store at all (if so, i cant find it) - i have approx $500 of Amazon credit i was waiting to spend on a Reolink bundle at some stage

    • unfortunately, this bundle isn't currently being sold on Amazon.

      • thanks, dealbest.
Can you help with a quick product spec check :

        https://reolink.com/au/refurbished-products/

        "RLN16-410 (Refurbished)
16-Channel PoE NVR with 3TB HDD
        AU $ 356.99AU
Note: Cannot work with 12MP camera"

yet this deal, and other sources too, shows notes that RLN16-410 is bundled with 12MP cameras (eg. RLC-833A)

Could you confirm if RLN16-410 DVR is compatible with 12mp or not?
        Thanks

        • The same model has had revisions over time. That particular refurbished item is likely an older revision. The brand new ones should support 12MP cameras.

Refer to the support article on hardware versions and support. https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000602543-I…

          • @Krishg: ah ok, got it - thanks mate, helpful. adding 12mp support seems a big change - a new or slightly diff model might help :)

  • Just wondering is it wirless cameras or need to connect with wired all around?

    • +1

      they are all wired

  • Has anyone got this system setup and running?
If so what is it like?

  • Is the without subscription part just means you'll need to subscribe to Reolink cloud separately?

One of the reasons I'm interested in Reolink cameras is the ability to view the cameras live from the app with just an internet connection for free. Don't really need the Cloud subscription for backups if that's all it is

    • Reolink cloud is for backup of recordings only. You get one camera cloud backup free (certain models only?) but have to login and renew every month. Viewing Reolink cameras live and playback is free.

  • Does this come with 8 x 18m cables? The messaging is weird lol:

'18m Network Cable (except for the bundles without 18m cables) ×8'

And what hardware model is the NVR (https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000602543-I…)?

    • +1

Model numbers for the NVR and the camera are in the OP. As for the 18m cables, yes they are included. The number of cables is dependent on the number of cameras included in the bundle.

Edit: you can also check What's in the box section of the product listing.

      • Thanks for that. The model number differs from the hardware version though (my fault for using the wrong word) and it affects what the NVR can do/max HDD storage.

        • +1

Ah, got you. No idea what the hardware version is but as there is only one variant listed on their site, I would assume/hope that it is N6MB01.

          • @Krishg: Can confirm N6MB01 it is in this kit.

Hi OP, I just bought 2 of the above sets. The title and drop down was a bit confusing (Title says 8 channel, but dropdown menu says 16 channel NVR). The description lists "RLN16-410-4K" in the specs so I assume it's a 16 channel. Could you also confirm whether the cameras are the RLC-820A? It doesn't specifically list that model but based on the drop down menu (RLK16-820D8-A), it seems to indicate that it is.

Since I purchased 2 sets, am I able to use all 16 cameras on a single NVR (and potentially just sell off the spare NVR)?

$815 (minus discounted ebay gift cards) for 8 x 820A cameras and RLN16-410 NVR seems like a good deal (albeit pre-owned/refurb).

The cams give a perfect record of the guy in a black hoodie, wearing gloves and sunglasses, just before he smashed the cams and then broke right in.

    1) The police were called, and they took a statement. The perps are long gone. Nothing stolen is retrieved. No one ever caught. You call your insurer.

    2) they actually catch the robber who is a kid with no money. Nothing stolen is retrieved. The court does nothing. You call your insurer.

That's the story in the papers around here. And a LOT of the people hit are on the estuary in nice places— still nothing.

  • I've been working twds a unit for ages, and have 5 existing cams (510A and 811A) from earlier Ozb deals.. plus a doorbell too.
    Ended up getting this ebay bundle - RLN16-510 (new hw revision = 12mp support), 4TB and 4x 833A : https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/295507596907?var=593594207409
Got it for $789 on the CC .. after applying "BF22AU" (from $1134 to $885), and $95 off from paypal Return&Earn recycling.
    Good outcome.
