The Ridge Ryder Modified Sine Wave (MSW) Inverter range is simple and easy to use, capable of providing 240V power from a 12V battery source. MSW Inverters are the ideal way to power the less sensitive appliances while away from the luxury of 240V AC household power.

I have used the Ridge Ryder Pure Sine Wave Inverter 1000W before and it has worked well.

Supercheap have some other inverters also on clearance.

  i think the deal with kings 1500watt pure sine wave yesterday for $139 pickup of evil bay with discount code was better deal.

    Other than different brand and higher power output, what do you think makes the Kings one a better deal? 1000W should be enough for me, and I particularly like the output power display on the remote on this one, but have a missed something important that would sway me towards the Kings offer?

      Pure sine vs modified sine is the BIGGEST "something important" here.

        agreed, don't ever buy modified sine wave inverters, total waste of money.
        Most power tools, laptop chargers, microwaves, etc. don't run on them at all

      If you don't need the remote switch, the Giandels are ok pure sine wave units. They used to have remote switch available but don't seem to any more for the smaller ones (I got a 600W one with remote couple of years back). Pretty cheap with BF code at the moment.

      1000W $98.25/$100.77
      1200W with remote $116.11/$119.09

      kings change the price daily, so watch when goes down their site, then head to evil bay and see if there is any discount on the page. Their combined deals work out cheaper than unit itself. it also helps if near one of their brick mortar store to save postage.

      very much the same. remember that there more reported problems with kings due to heaps of them sold. my mate abuses the king battery and after a year still good

            Their products are cheap for a reason.
