This air fryer doesn't have a rail for the tray to slide on. What this means is that everytime you open the tray, the tray has to be removed completely from the air fryer and set down on something. I had a older Philips air fryer where you could open the tray but it would stay on a rail. I was pretty disappointed with the lack of that feature. Whether it's worth $140+ to get the premium I'm not sure but just making people aware

    • Didn’t even know that was a thing and I have the regular one (probs about 5years old). In saying that this still has the quick release so not too bad to pull the tray out. Then release the basket to carry the food to wherever

I'm guessing the reason it doesn't slide out on a rail anymore is because the weight of the tray when pulled out could potentially tip the device over

      • +1

could be. mine tipped over when it was left fully open with the full basket of chicken pieces.

    • yeah was super painful playing around with it at the store the other day. Good price though.

  • Nope. Xxxl or go home 😛

  • Cant find proper reviews for this? Has anyone been using this air fryer?

    • Yes I think I have this model certainly looks the same. Does the job. Much bigger compared to the old one we had.

    • you are so right, that's too freaky and bad. all the real youtubes are of slightly different ones

Tempting but I'm holding out for a decent deal on the Ninja Foodi XL.
Seems was more practical and easy to clean than the egg shaped AirFryers

  • What does the 'connected' aspect do?

  • Connect via wifi and app. Quote from website
REMOTE COOKING: Connect your airfryer to the NutriU app and find hundreds of personalized recipes. You can monitor the progress on your phone via Wi-Fi, where ever you are

    • Are the ingredient measurements in metric or US Imperial on the app (or selectable)?

  • Sat on the fence between this and the premium XXL and ended up with the latter. Preferred having a rotary dial over dedicated buttons and the sliding rail. Also, we came from the legacy basic lineup of Phillips air fryer.

    No ragrets.
