As a huge Doctor Who and card game fan, I've been looking around for these. At this price this makes them ~$73 a commander deck - which beats anything I could find locally, e.g. JB HiFi has them for $85 each.

Each pack comes with 100 Doctor Who MTG cards, a booster pack, and a deck box for the cards.

There are 200 Doctor Who MTG cards all up, and between these boxes you'll get all of them. The boosters are simply for getting better foils or borders.

That's based on some research I've done, but I've been out of the MTG game for a while now. So I'd welcome a correction if I've misunderstood.

Should arrive in time for Christmas. Shipped direct from the Wizards of the Coast Amazon store.

  Games Empire (Syd) has them for $290, but $9 delivery. Might be useful if you absolutely need them by Xmas

    As a magic fan I think it's tacky. As a doctor who fan I love it. But I'm a much bigger doctor who fan than magic fan, haha.

    I started playing Magic in 1994 when i was 13 :) i had lots of Power 9 cards. Alpha, Beta.. cant remember.. didn't think anything of them.. pretty sure i tossed a few away… Played in a tournament in 1997 Oz-con Sydney :) Xena was there i think… anyways MTG is just way to complicated these days. The cards have a novel of instructions on them now. Not just the old simple 1 of 2 lines max.

    I purchased the 2015 Commander deck's (new) on special all 5 for $90 on eBay.. sold them 5 years later (new never opened) for $300 :) probably should have kept them because commander looks to be the only fun thing left in MTG

      Tbh some of those older cards have novels of text on them too! I have an Ice Cauldron that was gifted to me

    Kinda makes sense though, travelling to different planes. At least it's on theme.
