Yay lets post every single vitacost product on ozbargain!!! Seriously mods should do something…

    • They have, but it only affects new users. Unfortunately some of the vitacost spammers that are already here pass the requirements and can post this rubbish twice a week.

First posts and users less than 6 weeks old are not allowed to post referral links anywhere in the deal. Documentation has been updated.

Just looked at his history - he's only ever posted 3 Vitacost deals - each of them had no sale just normal pricing and included the $10 referral in the discount. Looks like a Vitacost spammer.

On a sidenote foobar, I have had about 5 conversations with you on here today haha

    • every item on the site is 20+% off the srrp. that's their normal pricing.

the problem is with many affiliates posting twice a week then you get lots of referral spam for one site. the sole motivation for posting is to make referrals.

This is normal price…and yet another referral link

  • Just wanted to share with you all a wonderful cheap creatine product that works.

Are you making a medical claim for this product?

      Do you even lift?

why do we endure this rubbish

I was worried for a second that we were going to make it through the entire day without a Vitacost deal. Crisis averted.

  • OK, let's go over this another time.

If you don't want to see Vitacost deals, you can hit the Hide from Listing link. You can use the button to block seeing any site or user posts. So if you wanted to see Vitapost deals but not JohnSmith's deals then you can do this.

As for Vitacost deals, we want everyone to give their feedback in this thread. Once again, here. As before, we are implementing some further guidelines for this store.

So the question is why aren't mods doing anything about it? Well we are, but we aren't creatine experts or Shaker experts. I thought the Shaker deal was SPAM but it ended up getting 51 votes. Point being, it's not up to mods to determine what is a bargain. It's up to the community. So far no one here has pointed out why this product is not a bargain? Can you find it elsewhere for cheaper? The majority of these votes are invalid.

Pointlessly negative voting a deal will not help the situation. If you want to shape how this site runs, comment on the referral feedback thread.

      All still there though….

I open ozbargain everyday to see the deal. I see this as a good deal. and not all the vitacost items are pretty cheap if you add shipping and all the risks. I use this creatine and found out it is effective only if I do a good diet.

    • just thought id return the favour, my 2 cents in for a change

  • +2

The price on its own is actually pretty solid.
In store 300-500g will cost you between $30-$50 (at an average shop).
    Less at some places.
At $7.99 (if thats the only cost) its a pretty solid deal.

one can only make so many fake emails…..

Good deal. Quit your whining :)

  • Seriously over the last 2 weeks I've stocked up on a bunch of stuff from Vitacost, used the referrals, and yes it is a bargain compared to what you would pay in Australia. I don't care how tired you are of seeing them, people like me who take supplements regularly appreciate these being posted.

If you don't like seeing vitacost bargains, hide them, problem solved.

It's only 2 particularly vocal users who I see frequently complaining anyway.

    • -1

      yes it is a bargain

      used the referrals

So you abused / committed fraud via their referral system to obtain your bargains?

  • edit

  • According my Mom whose a GP who runs a small medical centre she reckons this stuff is bad for you, your bodies testosterone generation naturally gets hampered in the long term(especially when you stop using this, even though its a natural version of the similar illegal anabolics):(

So i ordered 10 bottles for my step dad, but I have a feeling he might get suspicious.
