Just sharing my experience/word of caution:

I had loaded some Doordash GCs on a newly created account. After going through the checkout screen, it kept saying something went wrong, contact customer support and their support is as horrible as it gets…they kept saying some security concern but cannot do anything despite numerous escalations. Using Prepaid VISA/MC is a hit or miss but once your account is locked for whatever security reasons, there's no recovery for any of the GC balance.

  Customer Support should be able to give back the gift card balance if it cannot be used due to the account being locked. They'll then give you a gift card code with that amount that you can use on another Doordash account. I haven't tried recently but that's what Customer Support did in the past.

    Had this issue 3 weeks ago, they couldn't do anything. Plus, it's not worth my time to fight over it with them for the GC balance….but these issues are annoying.
