    I think I'd rather go for Australian stock and warranty with http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/81884 .

    It is $2 cheaper for pickup and only $17 more with freight. I think Grey imports really need to be quite a bit cheaper to be a better deal.

      Agreed, especially considering that Canon product recall where they refused to cover grey imports. Not worth the risk of getting stuffed around when there is proper Aust stock for the same price, imports are supposed to be significantly cheaper, that's the whole point.

      Also states that it's dispatched within 3 days, but they fail to mention on here that it's shipped from HONG KONG which could take WEEKS.

          That's for the worse case scenario. Whereas it usually takes about 3 working days to be delivered.

          As a business we rather be realistic than over promise and under deliver.
