      FYI - Only the band is stainless steel, the case is resin. Casio website.

      I like how Amazon hedged their bets & say it's S/Steel but further down - resin.

      I'm really liking the A1000RCB-1 collaboration model Casio did with Rag & Bone, which basically a blacked-out A1000 with a green LCD display. Looks sweet and very legible too.

      The only problem is they're retailing for around $400 AUD which even I can't justify for what is a glorified, all-metal F-91W.

          Yeah it needs to be about half that price for me to jump on it. It's technically a limited edition* (as in limited to the amount they can sell) so the markup is even more ridiculous.

          That being said, the A1000RCB-1 does have sapphire crystal which the other A1000s lack but even still, the price is too high.

      Resin just scratches unbelievably easily, especially if it's used for watch glass (thankfully these A700s have mineral crystal for the glass at least).

      I've had brand-new Casios with resin glass/cases arrive to me with scratches on them just from bouncing around in their boxes during transit.

      It is relatively easy to polish scratches from resin compared to mineral glass but the rate at which you'll acquire them (especially if you wear a resin watch everyday) makes it absolutely pointless.

    If anyone wants a gold Casio World Time A500WGA-1DF there is one @ Amazon Waterhouse for… $65.79.
    Condition - Used, very good. Damaged packaging. The case & lens are both resin.

    I prefer the AE1200 World Time & the black resin model is currently.. $49.16. Camel.
