    I got a couple of packs of these from my local store a few hours before they appeared on Ozbargain, there were still quite a few around at that point. Quickly disappeared once this post appeared. Quite impressed with the cams though, easy setup and the app is good too.

      When you order a click and collect the item is usually in stock, but they don't pick the order till the following morning or later, in the meantime all the stock has been sold to people that have raced to the store to grabbed whatever is there.

    For anyone interested, I have a relative in national infrastructure who says Its probably because TP-Link is Chinese owned. All Govt, most companies and their supply chains are being instructed to remove all Chinese camera’s and networking equipment.

    Just got a Dahua NVR and crazy enough it found and linked a cheap $20 ptz indoor camera from Aliexpress. I'm hoping when this finishes charging it'll find the Tapo's two too with having to use the hub.

    Ok. Congratz to the lucky ones who got 1 (or more).

    For those who’s luck was not enough to get one, here’s a story that might be beneficial for you…

    Even though I posted the deal I actually just bought it for a friend. I ended up wanting it and started to look for it today (even it was marked as OOS). Tried ringing some stores but no one answers. Went to a local store, showed them the item number and they checked their system. No luck, none in their store. I asked which store had some. They said another store had 4 and another had 8. Went to the store closest to me was able to buy 1! 😁

    So, my advise, just go to a store near you and ask them to check their system and find out which store might have it. Good luck!

    P.S. Got mine from Watergardens (the last one) and the lady said Craigeburn has 8. 😁

      Their system seems to be very outdated. Its very annoying to wait days and then they cancel. Its not many stores where its a literal gamble when you buy something. Staff told Me that their system doesnt have any accuracy with stock levels because people steal and then it still shows as in stock. They should give a voucher for wasting peoples time.

    Kinda fun watching people discovering how awful Kmart's online shopping is. They were prob the last major retailer to go online, and when they did their system is basically, if someone shows up for work, if they have time they go look for your item on the shelf of you local store and if they find it they courier it out a few days later.
    In the meantime, if it was in stock it may not be anymore.
    In comparison I ordered 2 cameras from Amazon on a Saturday afternoon that were delivered Sunday morning.

    I actually secured another one today, maybe the last in Australia. For that price you can't go wrong but the batteries are around $70 alone so worth buying just for the batteries.

    Anyone else received and had issues? One camera and hub works flawlessly, second camera battery doesn’t contact correctly, managed to pair it and during the process the battery lost contact. Now it slowly blinks red and when I try to reset it just flashes red quickly until I get sick of waiting.
