Nice sale! the Nendoroid ones are great value for sure, easy Christmas present sorted.

  • Store Pickup seems to be the only option for order over $50 ?

How do you unselect "Store Pickup" ?

    • +1

This might be caused by the system not being able to calculate the shipping. Select store pickup and reply back to the email invoice sent by our system and our team can get shipping quoted for you.

hi a few hours ago after clicking through your deal I had tabs open with T-shirts which were $11.50 each regardless of size. those same shirts after refreshing the page are now $29.99 each so I have decided not to buy anything.

is there any reason for this change in price?

    • +1

That was a price error on our part for that. (they were not quite meant to be part of the discount unfortunately), but for those who ordered before the update the sale price will be honoured.

I logged back in to thank you for your honest response.

just wanted to tell you this hasn't changed my opinion of your store as I have shopped there before and everything went well. pricing error is understandable and I think better of you from your response. thanks. 🙂

The pricetag of most if not all pre-order scale figures are ridiculous. You'd better off just order from Amazon Japan or amiami and it will still be like 20% cheaper after paying for DHL express shipping.

    • +4

Unfortunately the economics of high end scale figures realistically is extremely brutal and places such as amiami and amazonJP does have the cheapest prices available due to their sheer volume and scale as well as operating in Japan.

With pre-order we do not claim to be the cheapest, rather just offer things at a price point that make sense for us to function as a business in Australia with all the overheads that operating in this country brings.

you do realize global stores such as Amazon manage to consistently beat local stores prices for just about everything these days right?

I could literally pull products from any local store, then jump on it and be like "these prices are ridiculous".
and by commenting here you are referring specifically to niche JDM type products, then state how global stores based in Japan are cheaper.

      • If you don't mind paying more for the same thing, then I am curious why are you visiting Ozb?

read the comment again dude. at which point did I say I like to pay more for the same thing?

I pointed out to you how your statement applies to so many things when comparing prices to global stores especially Amazon. the point is you are stating the obvious and it was easy for you because you applied it to a niche product that can't be found at many other places.

"I am curious why are you visiting Ozb?"

this place is for posting deals and it is open for anyone to join.

          • @harshbdmmaster718: What ever you say dude. It doesn't seem like we are on the same page.

            End of the discussion

          • @harshbdmmaster718: Just saying, one is a physical shop the community can visit. My local anime shop was awesome with introducing me to the hobby back in the day.

+1 Support your local independent anime shops as much as possible.

Amiami can be pretty scummy with double dipping on collecting Aussie GST and Japan consumption tax (see their Fumos)
