I got this a good while ago to play my old faves with mame. I found it sucks when playing games that require a 4 position joystick as the switches are make-before-break and mame doesn't like it - it expects a clean change in direction (eg. left to up) rather then slide through an intermediate point (eg left to diagonal left up to up). I had a quick look for some software to fix this but didn't find it. I did find a 3d model for a mechanical gate to attach on the back of the joystick (inside the unit) which limits it to 4 positions but I've not yet got around to trying it.
Very informative. For this price I'd have thought the joystick would have included corner buttons. No Mortal Kombat for me I guess.
with this being said, what would be good as i got a xbox 360 and with street fighter and id like to get a nice stick and button combo rather then using a controller….

Great stick after 200 hours in street fighter 6. the portability, weight and size is what makes this great, I have a stick that cost 4x more then this but it’s a huge heavy boy and wired but 50% of the time I use 8bitdo stick instead because of the convenience on top of my lap comfortably and wirelessly fast with 2.4ghz on the couch
I did change buttons and stick to Sanwa, but stock stick and buttons are still decent
Same here, I've upgraded mine to Sanwa Joystick, Octagonal Restrictor Plate, and buttons.
I "may or may not" have used the shortcut P1 & P2 buttons for Level 1 & 3 supers (which may not be tournament legal) shhh….
Is it easy to mod this with semitsu? What's the lag with switch/mister?
