I would really recommend buying outlets without charging ports in general because most of them have terrible coil whine.

I got a sansai from Amazon and basically had to buy a new one without usb ports, it was that terrible..

    • outlets without charging ports

I got one which has 3 USB ports but it wasn't my choice and I absolutely don't use them.
But do you know of any of these power boards which have international or universal outlets?

      • You mean the power boards for travelers? Like the donut mini or something like that packhacker guys keep mentioning?

If so I don’t, but all you need is a multi charger with a figure 8 adapter or just straight up an adapter and you have multiple usb’s out

    • which ones have you tried so I can avoid them

I didn't even try the USB port and I do not try (and don't trust) any USB port on these cheap power outlets.
If you need a USB charger, I suggest you buy a good one to avoid damaging your gadgets or to avoid fires too.

        • Which brand do you have that makes you not trust it to the point where you didn't ever use the ports?

          • @BLAIL:

            Which brand do you have

FLEETINNG, DRAGONSU and ELITEBUS you know these are the typical rebadged names.

      • I got sansai. I was running HomePod and a raspberry pi with the ports.

Ports are loud regardless if they are plugged in or not though fyi.

This one is surge protected though

    • This is often always out of stock.

  • need a few cygnett usb chargers

  • Says in-store only for me
edit: Actually, it's the stupid Bunnings thing. Need to select a store that has stock first to be able to add to card and ship
Pretty good price for two delivered! Thanks op

$28.50 on Bunnings Trade also if doing pickup - don't think this works with OnePass for free delivery

    Title doesn't mention it's a 2 pack.

Think that's for one only though

      • Thanks, just noticed it’s a 2 pack in the description.

12 outlets to one socket… surely that can’t be a good idea?!

My 12 column heaters disagree, absolute belter of a campfire going now.

Pfft you're not living life until you plug 12 socket powerboards in to 12 socket powerboards.

Depends on what is plugged into it. Wouldn't plug 12 computers or 6 kettles in it, but most devices are as low power as they can be.

Our surroind sound system + tv + playstation5 + grow light for indoor plant takes up 7 plugs but all on at max power take up ~1000watts out of 2100~2200 watts available. So could easily run devices from the 5 left safely.

  • You may want to add “2 pack” in the title @teximushin

So many power outlet deals lately but none are ever what I'm after…

I'm looking for 1 with at least 4 out (preferably 5-6) with individual switches, master switch, 1.5-2m cable and surge protection that lasts more than a month (preferably longer but every one I've tried lose it before then). Anyone happen to know of any?

Tough requirements for sure….. I would almost be looking at mixing and matching a few things together to be able to achieve this.
