However, they can be used with a kit to become a downlight
Also, the speakers are apparently decent enough, and this was based on reviews when this light was $80 each

When I looked at these about a year ago when Bunnings were clearing them out, I thought there were a lot of reports that the app hadn't been maintained and couldn't even connect anymore.
So might want to check if anyone has these working now before buying.

Just checked and Sengled only have 2 apps in Android store, one for Bluetooth plus the pulse app mentioned in product listing.
Pulse app is listed as not compatible with any current devices as it was built for earlier versions and hasn't been updated (explicit note in playstore).
So yeah, I'd avoid unless you're after a hacking challenge or repurposing hardware.

I bought these last time Costco had them. App connects and works fine.

      • What do you connect them to? Thanks

        • iPhone through Bluetooth.

Not the greatest speakers or lights. But they do the job.

  • Aren't these 100 years old. I remember buying this years ago and the speaker was rubbish.

Would not recommend on clearance or not.

              @adrianhughes1998: Are you keeping count?

              Why?

@jv: Took me a nanosecond to see your post count.

Na, don't have time to track your output here. Not sure what value you bring to the table here on ozbargain, can't see it.

                  to see your post count.

                  Why does in interest you?

@jv: To see how much of your time you've wasted without reward.

@jv: Oh I do. Review dash cams and phones in my past life, and got compensated for it with my forum work.

What did you get? A badge?

How much do you get compensated for tracking post counts?

  • Sounds like a good idea in theory but there's just no way those speakers have passable sound quality

    • no way those speakers have passable sound quality

They should be fine for listening to Taylor Swift.

  • can the Satellite Bulbs (20-Pack) work as just light???
