    Seems like the earlier Sony WH1000XM4 from TGG has seen the price of Bose dip :-)) Good that JB-HiFi is watching OzB.

    They refunded the price difference with The Goodguys deal of 231 .I just did today before 6 Pm . But mine was unopened box and have to take the goods to any store

    I Bought a pixel 8 a couple of weeks ago - Delivered 4.30 pm Thursday - Came down $70 on Friday at 8am and they basically said 'Tough'

    Unfortunately it was a gift and opened and used that evening otherwise I would have returned for a refund and re-purchased, .. And yes I bought these headphones from JB a couple of days ago at the higher price as well.

      Hand in your ozbargain badge.
      You're supposed to buy it again at the lower price and return the sealed box for a refund with the high priced receipt.

      Wdym? That's the product name.
      Sometimes referred to without the 45, but adding the 45 makes it clearer that they're the same model as the QC 45 but different case.

      I have this headphone. When you connect it to the bose app it simple shows as QC 45, no mention of SE or anything like that.

        I asked for Amazon for a refund of the difference in price I paid on Black Friday compared to today’s price.

        They couldn’t refund the difference, but would allow me to return the initial purchase for a full refund, and to order at the lower price. It’s not worth the effort, which is the objective of the policy I suppose.

    Anyone got this and the QC35 II can commend on whether it's worth the upgrade?

    Wish the Ultra was cheaper…

    Also, as jackwilk pointed, Student Beans comes out cheaper at $210 inc shipping.

      Yeah I had the 35s and recently purchased the 45s. Personally I found it worth it (especially at this price).

      The USB C alone was almost worth it, as it meant I only had to carry 1 cable for my phone and headphones when traveling. The battery life definitely is an improvement (although that could also be a reflection on the age of my 35s) and the charge time is quick.

      Anecdotally I feel the bluetooth range is much better (or at least copes better going through walls in my house). My phone can be in one end of the house and I can be in the opposite and it doesn't miss a beat (my 35s always struggled at that distance and cut out).

      Depends on what you need.
      having 450BT since 2018, upgrade to MX4 then MX5 comfy, mic and ANC are much better than 450BT.
      This Bose will be close to MX4. trying to get this Bose for office use because of better Mic quality and ANC.

            @froogletom: Commbank has a $30 off $200 spend with the good guys, they have them for $236 so $206 is a good deal.
