December PS+ Extra/Deluxe titles!

A new month heralds even more titles joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog. December’s lineup is playable from Tuesday, December 19, headlined by Grand Theft Auto V, letting even more players travel to Los Santos to experience the exhilarating single player story campaign, then craft their own career on the city streets and beyond in the vast multiplayer world of GTA Online. GTAV’s arrival into the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog nicely lines up with the game’s newly launched update, GTA Online: The Chop Shop, which introduces a new Salvage Yard business, Drift Races, and more.

          I really enjoyed 16.
          Strangers of paradise is more dungeon crawler with weak story telling and bad acting.
          Not same calibre as ff 16 for me which were great on both those aspects

    I bought GTA5 for PS3, then it came with my PS4, now I'll get is free for my PS5. Crazy how good this has been over 3 console generations.

    Great month for me in the sense that I only own one of these (GTA), and have already played only one other (Prodeus, interminable imo). Might be a record for me.

    Not sure why people keep whinging about extra/deluxe. Yeah it went up $30 or so, but what hasn’t gone up in this economy lately. Still good value for what you’re paying, so many good games such little time to play. Great month

    How is this a deal? With discs being retired, plus normal being neglected, the PS5 needing a hardware upgrade, microtransaction abuse and mute lobbies and banter due to everyone getting banned or silenced for saying a 'swear' Sony is skating on some pretty thin ice for me, I say as a user since 2008. All of a sudden we're not winning and the lack of people online on my friend's list is showing it.

    You'll pay for these games 5x over and only have access to them with your expensive subscription, tis a promo not a deal.

      Definitely a nett neg for me and am rushing to finish Like a Dragon before I lose it. One day I'll play one of my PC copies of Shadow of Wardor. One day….

      Also, I'd love to know if a game like Friday 13th having been PS+ inspires anyone to buy it to continue - if so you have until the 31st (apparently)!

    Maybe this will be the first month in the history of humanity where GTA 5 wasn't still the bestselling game, now that people can get it for "free."

    I already played it, no interest in going back, and I got a copy of Strangers of Paradise for $15 a while back, was actually thinking of finally booting it up tonight.

    Personally I'm most keen to try Prodeus, Grime and Tinykin, which are games that seem good but that I would never buy myself.

    I'm most hyped for Thrillville I must've spent hours in that game as a kid highly recommend downloading it for your kids and there's heaps of cool mini games within it that allow split screen

    Outside of Stranger of Paradise (which I bought and promptly returned when it came out…), the bulk of these are either already on, and have been on Game Pass before.
    Sony really needs to step up their game, especially with how stupidly expensive PS Plus is now (and the fact that it doesn't also include PC games or streaming like Game Pass Ultimate). At the very least give us some more launching games on there! They're bleeding lots of subs from what I can tell, due to the crazy price increases and with little to show for it.

      It also doesn't include EA play and first party day one launch titles like GPU. I showed a couple of friends of mine the other day cloud streaming on my phone. They knew of Game Pass but they had no idea you didn't even need an Xbox for cloud streaming. They were amazed.

        Yeah it's pretty awesome. Anything with a web browser basically, or the newer Samsung TVs which have the app built in. Just need a controller (obviously on phone you don't even need that, but it's a terrible experience in most games without it!).

    Why do these posts get allowed ? It isn’t a deal , you’re paying the fee Sony sets at full price. If it were discounted it would be a deal. Even worse because they jacked the price up.
