yeah it's not like they're posted 7 pages of deals on here 😋

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/airjo.com

It's very nice coffee. After trying various other bean dealers who regularly post on here (Lime Blue, Coffee on cue, Coffee Direct, Bada-Bean, etc) , we've settled in Airjo for easily being best bang for our buck.

      • Hey M00Cow - thanks so much for your feedback and for sharing.
        We sincerely appreciate it.

        Cheers

  • Looking to buy today, had my eye on you guys for a while
Ive got a nespresso pod machine with the reusable metal pods that I haven't used yet, any recommendation for what I should go for?

I'm not clued up on any coffee tech, I just enjoy flat whites from cafes

And should I buy preground beans or whole beans and ground myself?

    Thanks in advance!

    • +1

      Hey Surtr - great questions!
If you have your own grinder I recommend definitely buying beans and grinding yourself - Freshly ground is always best if you can do it. Particularly for something like refillable pods - you will likely need to try a few grind settings to nail the right grind to suit.

In terms of blends - I recommend you start with the Enterprise Blend - it's a super blend suitable for all types of drinks.

I hope that helps and thanks again for asking.

      Cheers
      Dan

      • Amazing thank you, ordering now! :)

  • Hi Dan - any recommendations for a blend which is suitable for both as a pour over and as a flat white?

    • Hey there cpho - Thaks for asking.
I would go with the Enterprise Blend as a great place to start. It's a medium blend ands works really well with different brew methods and drinks.

      I hope that helps.

      Cheers
      Dan

      • Hey Dan really sorry but I've ordered under the wrong address - any chance it can be rectified?

        Order Number #102486

      • Thanks - will give it a try

  • Enjoyed the Sumatra blend this month for my moka pot coffees as something different. Need to try the Enterprise blend next I think.

    • Great choice Skramit - genuinely keen to hear how the 2 compare for you.

      Thanks so much.
      Dan

  • I’ve been purchasing every month for a long time now. Still loving the Sumatra

Does leave me wondering if I’m missing out with the next level up…..need a wee sample pack! :D

    • Hey there Bluemetal - Greatr to hear you are enjoying the Sumatra.
Do you want to go a little stronger? Is that what you mean by "level ip"? If yes, I would recommend the Enterprise or even the Stargazer as a darker one.

      I hope that helps.

      Cheers
      Dan

      • Thanks Dan! Don’t want to risk it & then fluff around with a return hehehe

  • Hi Dan,

What's a good blend for a cold brew?

    • Hey there flapthemwings - If you like the lighter roasts I would try the Pegasus or if darker is your thing try the Thunderchild.

      I hope that helps.

      Cheers
      Dan

      • Thanks for the recs!

        Giving Thunderchild a go.

        • Fantastic - please let us know how it goes for you.

          Cheers
          Dan

  • The Decaf blend is amazing. Not only tastes better than most non-decaf beans, but also I can drink 10 shots a day without any side-effects.

    • Wow! Thanks so much for sharing ForkSnorter! We agree - it is delicious!

      Cheers
      Dan

      • Can you pls let me know which other blends I can try - needs to be smooth strong dark (so that it doesn’t curdle with soy milk) thanks Dan

  • Great coffee, just got myself a new Eureka Mignon Specialita which I'm excited to try out

    • Thanks so much ArmyKnifey and congrats on the new kit!!

  • Fantastic coffee, have ordered a few times, however I am fully loaded for now.

We're very fortunate to have AirJo and other wonderful local roasters bring us these great deals!

    • Really appreciate your feedback cunningdrew - thanks so much.

  • Highly recommend these guys, coffee is outstanding. Thanks OP grabbed 2 x sumatra blends.

If you can't get through the amount of coffee, I use vac seal bags and freeze them. Let the bags defrost before opening. Helps keep the coffee you can't finish still very fresh.

    • Amazing - thanks for sharing Mijak - it makes a great difference for people to hear from others genuine experience with the products - we really appreciate it.

      Cheers
      Dan

  • I love campos superior blend.
    Anything similar?

    • Hey there OzBestDeal - I haven't tried that one personally but if you tell me what you like about it I can recommend something from our range. Enterprise is always a great one to start with if that helps.

      Cheers
      Dan

      • Hi Dan, thanks for replying.
It's hard to describe, but the aroma, the balance of acid and bitterness, and the strength of Campos Superior seems tick my boxes. Prices seems a bit high though ($50 /kg), hence I'm looking for cheaper alternative.

Sorry for being very bias, I'm not really good with my coffee, but I'll have a look on the Enterprise you recommend

  • I can last the weekend - if I order Monday will they be roasted that day as well?

Hey Hinee - either Sunday arvo or Monday I would guess at this stage.

  • Extremely fast shipping, I ordered last week and it was in WA overnight. well packed and super fresh.

Stargazer is nice and strong per previous threads discussing bean types. I have it with milk and so far I am very happy.
Searching for an alternate to Manna beans due to the agenda pushing, I just wanted coffee beans man!

Good coffee and service. thank you guys and girls

    • Thank you so so much smileys - we are so pleased you are happy and super grateful for you sharing.

      Cheers
      Dan

  • Dan do you have a scale/table on your wesbiet with all the blends compared in a list/table format?

    • Hey Skramit - not yet but it's in the works…

  • For someone just getting into doing espressos properly, can you recommend a bean?
I prefer strong but not bitter or acidic coffee. Generally I do 2x double shots in a large mug and top up with 50ml or so of water. (only use a Breville Bambino Plus espresso maker at the moment)

    • +1

Hey DoomTrooper - I would start with the Enterprise Blend and see how that works for you.

      I hope that helps.
      Cheers
      Dan

      • Thanks for that. I've placed the order for a 1kg bag of Enterprise so hopefully it's good!

  • I've still got some coffee left over, takes me a while to go through 1kg.. Any options to buy now and ship like next week, for a fresher batch of coffee?

    • Hey there GuniGuGu - we are all set up to roast and post as soon as the orders come in keeping it fast and fresh.
We don't have any options to delay.

I hope that helps and thanks for asking.

      Cheers
      Dan

      • Sure.. So when does this special end? What's the latest I can place my order? :)

  • Just had my Sumatra subscription filled yesterday. I've sent an email 😉

As a suggestion, It'd be great if I could easily switch from one coffee to another and keep the same subscription going on. I do like the Sumatra, but sometimes I try or go back to the other options for a month or so.

    • +1

Hey there this is us. You can certainly do that very easily from your profile page when you login. Many people switch blends regularly within their subscription . It’s a great way to try all the blends.
If you need a hand, shoot me an email to [email protected] and I will be happy to help.

      Cheers

  • Alright Dan, let's see how your beans up against the legendary Aldi Lazzio, I'll try this 1 time.

    • Ok kaitoivan! Let's do it!!

    • Aldi Lazzio

those are OK, but unfortunately, due to the way supermarkets work, the time on the shelf for these beans tend to be around 1 month at least, and usually 1.5 months.

If you get them somehow fresh (say, within 2 weeks of the roast date), it is plenty good enough for a regular latte (but not as a coffee shot).

airjo's is always fresh, and it's only about 2x the price, but i say it's worth it. The quality of the sumatra blend edges out the aldi beans enough.

    • Heard lots of raving review about Aldi Lazzio.
We tried a few Lazzios but not quite sure why people raving about it.

Dark roast - strength is ok but a bit bland.
Columbia - ok strength, a bit more flavour than dark roast
Brazil - less strength, some flavour, but nothing to write home about
Luxe - less strength, similar flavour to columbia

  • Hi Dan can we pick up rather than delivery?

    • Hey there trowlz - shipping only - no pick ups - thanks for asking.

      Cheers
      Dan

      • A bit disappointing, I work in the same area where roasted. Bit of waste to pay for something to go km away then come back to where it started.

      • Might be worth looking into. I would have to say it's more sustainable.

  • Just recently got a Breville Barista Pro and have been loving griding my own beans. I have seen your deals on here from time to time and just made an order cant wait to see if you guys live up to the buzz!

Got the Enterprise and Twilight as the comments on here seemed favourable for them.

  • Always like to plan next bag a bit in advance (can't be running low!). Any chance you'll ever change your checkout to allow for delayed dispatch option?

  • +1

Well, I'm def no coffee expert but just received my bag of Twilight beans. Emptied the rest of my Aldi beans out of the grinder and filled her back up. Same settings for grind and volume etc. for a double with milk. Bloody hell, amazing. Thanks mate, very impressed. Looking forward to a few expresso Martini's over the XMAS break for breakfast each morning I reckon. Cheers.
