180

Been keeping an eye out these for when I go overseas and spotted them on sale at Officeworks.

JB Hi Fi currently has them on sale for around 30% off.

Note: You will need a subscription if you want to view more than the previous 3 hours of footage. Nest Aware ($12/m or $120/y) allows 30 days of event video history and Nest Aware Plus ($24/m or $240/y) allows 60 days (and 24/7 history for 10 days).

  • Nice find, but still ppl struggling to sell the one from previous sale, Facebook market is full of nest products 😁

That's because most of them want full retail and not willing to budge on their price. I have made multiple reasonable offers in the past 6mths and all rejected. Maybe it's just the listings in my area.

      • I agree, I had someone who accepted my offer and then asked me for more saying im getting lots of msges, and I said pass. Long story short he was looking for buyer here on OB after a few weeks 😁

        • How do you know it is the same person

          • @nightelves: We had the conversation here on OB, then he said his getting tons of msg on FB so was asking for more 🤷‍♂️

            • @Aminn: So he ended up getting more or listing still active

            • @Aminn: I sell a lot of junk on FB, most of the offers I get are scammers or time wasters. I would bet he is still stuck with it as most people on there don't overpay.

  • Still not as good as that $124 deal they had for Google Nest Cam

    • That was a price error and likely won’t be repeated anytime soon.

    • When was this?! Omg how’d I missed that

The subscription kills it for me.

    • Is this camera basically dead if you don't get a subscription?

      • +1

You can still view it live and watch the previous 3 hours of event footage. The subscriptions increases how far back you can watch. One of mine are going to be pointing to my fishtank so I'll be only using it for live footage (i might just get the subscription the month I'm away - in case I want to know what my fish was doing 4 hours ago..)

        • So you could just subscribe for a month then drop it? say if you were going away for Christmas?

Same, I have a doorbell and indoor camera and was about to buy 5 more cameras but decided to go with Reolink and do my own NVR or my home servers. Without the subscription, they're not really usable for security reasons overnight, and it's gone up considerably over the last couple of years :(
