  • I have a pair of these, but I don't find them comfortable.

  • Best Mid-Range Earbuds according to RTINGS (22/11/23): https://www.rtings.com/headphones/reviews/best/by-type/in-ea…

    • I hear people talk highly of the Linkbuds s, surprised its not on the list

      • I love my Linkbuds S. Comfortable, simple, sounds good, app on Android isn't bad, has LDAC and multi-point, and I like my light blue marbled colour

    • Easy to see why, this is pretty much Airpods for Android and it's priced very competitively at least on sale.

  • $150 with student beans code if you can get one

  • Any significant advantages of using them with a recent Pixel phone, other than initial pairing? Currently using Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.

    • +1

Seems to have EQ and noise cancellation settings baked into the settings app on the Pixel, not sure how this works on samsung etc…

You just download the Pixel Buds app from the Play Store and do it there.

      • I have a Galaxy Buds widget for that as well.

With Samsung, you get hi-res audio if you're using a Galaxy device, but Google don't give you much of an incentive to pick their buds.

    • I have had issues with my Jabra's on pixel and these worked fine on my P7Pro.

      They are decent enough.

      • I haven't had any issues pairing any of my Bluetooth headphones or earbuds to the Pixel 6 Pro or 8 Pro, just wanted to know whether there are any compelling value in the Pixel Buds Pro from the ecosystem perspective, and have not yet been convinced.

  • Love to hear of some other options for the tips that people might have used, as I just can't make these stay in my ears. The even wiggle out if I'm eating or talking. Maybe not the "Comply" ones - they aren't a very OzBargain price :-) Cheers

Get memory foam tips from AliExpress. Much cheaper

      • Do you find it better than the original tips? There is a mixed review when I search the item.

        Would you share the link?

        • Haven't tried on these but on other earbuds. Definitely better than stock plastic. Just search comply tips or memory tips and look for a high rated seller that has sold a lot. Get a bag of mixed sizes

    • I have the same problem.

    • Had the same issue so returned them, sucked because I really liked everything else about them, but they gotta stay in your ears!

I had the original version and the casing had a smaller fit which fit my ears perfectly, the smallest tips on these is larger than that so they just don't fit me.

If Google ever bring out a new version that fits smaller ears again I will go back to them.

  • I've got a pair of Bose QCII earbuds, but I don't like how bulky they are. If I change to these, would it be considered a huge downgrade?

    • I don’t know how your sound buds sound, but I rate Pixel Buds Pro higher than Airpods Pro 1. Pixel buds are bass heavy and have better noise cancellation than its apple counterpart.

      • Thanks! Are they comfortable? Do they fit well in the ears?

        • Mine are comfortable, but dont fit super well.

    • +1

      No.

  • Comfy, sound is good and noise cancellation is nice and magic

Main complaint is I find it a bit tricky to get them in and out of the case with big fingers and the case has an led light which you can't turn off to blind you when you open it at night

  • Wait for boxing day. It'll go below $100.

    • Oh look, you were wrong.

      • Sorry about that. Turned out to be wrong.

But I managed to get mine for $137…

  • Are these good for iphone?

I need a back up for my airpods pro usb-c, aa Inlose them all the time

  • Any one else have a spare code from student beans please?
