    Very nice price! Especially if you can pick up in stores!

    Played with one in the Sony Store in World Square Sydney and they look to be pretty solid.

    Only catch for me is apparently GoPro Hero 3 is being announced end of this month so might wait out and see what GoPro has to offer.

        Quick google search also brings up a few hits.

        Well Hero 2 came out around this time last year. HD Hero in Jan, 2010. Digital Hero 5 in December 2008, Digital Hero in 2007. Additionally, given that Contour, Sony and Polaroid all launched a new product into the action camera scene this year, I would say it's definitely possible that they would launch a Hero 3 this year.

      I suggesting getting it with the wifi. Think of all the things you can do. control it remotely, use it to hangout or video chat(im sure someone will make a plugin) download ur videos directly instead of having to connect it to the PC…
