  Literally just finished my second playthrough of it yesterday (did my first at launch)…I got completely hooked again. Now working on my final 4 trophies for platinum. As someone who normally skips story cutscenes in games as I don't have the time and I play games to play, the story in this amazing and I loved the majority of my minutes playing/watching and strategising. If you have played VII and haven't touched this, it is so much more than just a remake and the story quirks are so well inserted that I picked up many more this time around.

  If you haven't touched it, now is the perfect time before February.

  I don't think this is a bargain. I purchased the PS5 version full Intergrade which includes the Yuffie episode DLC for $26.58 during the BF sale on 22/11, although it is a digital version.

    Yeah, weird how the price went up.

    I bought FFVII Remake like 3 years for $20-25 (Disc) and then got gifted it for free on PS+.

    Trying to figure out how to get the Yuffie DLC for cheap without having to buy Remake again…

  It was a PS Plus monthly free game back in March 2021. Initially, Sony did not permit the PS5 upgrade for that particular version, but later did a backflip.
  Check that you didn't collect it before you purchase this game.

  I love FF7, I still have my ps1 copy i had purchased from target for $77. But this remake is a ripoff.
  Considering capcom has been able to do remakes of Re2/re3 and RE4. I refuse to play this game until it's released in it entirely.
