Last call for 2023!

Thank you immensely for your amazing support throughout this year, it truly means so much. This is our last deal to round off the year. Next week is your last opportunity to get our fresh coffee dispatched to you before mid January. I'm very excited about the two new wonderful Single Origins included in this deal, fingers crossed you love them just as much as I do :)

We're offering you a 40% discount off our newly launched Nicaragua Bridazul and Honduras La Paz Single Origins plus our much loved SWP Decaf:

1) Nicaragua Bridazul Single Origin, only $27.59 per 1kg (usually $45.98 per 1kg)

2) Honduras La Paz Single Origin, only $26.39 per 1kg (usually $43.98 per 1kg)

3) Swiss Water Process Decaf, only $29.39 per 1kg (usually $48.98 per 1kg)

Deal valid for orders placed until 26/12/2023, unless sold out before. Dispatch can happen for you as near as Wednesday (Monday and Tuesday are Public Holidays) and as far as the last Thursday in February (29/02/24). Once a given dispatch date is at full capacity the green circle will be removed and date will turn red, first in best dressed :)

Some helpful info:

  • You're welcome to place multiple orders scheduled for dispatch at various dates (delayed dispatch) to make the most of this deal, we strive to dispatch our fresh coffee within 48 business hours of roasting
  • One dispatch per order
  • 500g bag packaging (it's resealable) is also available for orders larger than 500g this is an extra $3.60 per kg including the discount (normally $6 extra per kg) to cover the extra bag/s, label/s and time it takes to pack
  • Complimentary gift notes can be submitted via a reply message to your order confirmation email
  • The largest bag size we use is 1kg and it has a zip (it's resealable), for example if you order 4kg with 1kg packaging you will receive 4 x 1kg bags, you will not receive a single huge 4kg bag.

Thanks for the great coffee this year guys. Hands down our favourite beans at our office.

Which do you recommend out of the Nicaraguan and the Honduran for a long black with a dash of milk? Prefer a stronger flavour profile!

    • +1

Morning @Wampus WOW what a terrific compliment, thank you, I'm so glad we're in your good books, we'll keep working hard to stay there!

Great question. I believe both will suit. However, based on the type of drink you enjoy my gut instinct is that you'll prefer our Honduras as it has stronger chocolate notes. It's rare to have a fruit strong coffee work well with white coffees (even just a dash of milk). Our Nicaraguan has strong fruity notes and is unique in that it works very well for both black and for white/milk based coffees :)

      • Thanks again, just put an order through for 3kg!

        • Fantastic, thank you so much!!!

  • +1

props to this supplier looking after OzBargain with these deals.

    • Much appreciated @skuzy very happy we're in your good books, we'll keep working hard to stay there :)

Nice offer but I just received my Tim Tam order yesterday with a free 2Kg of the Thank You blend included. Still gets a +1 from me.

BTW, if anyone is wanting to try the Swiss Water Process Decaf then I highly recommend it, one of the best decaf blends I've ever had.

    • haha @Chazzozz you must sure love your Tim Tams :)

Thank you so much for another +1 and your super-duper terrific Decaf recommendation!

  • Can you do a deal for 500g as well please?

    • Hey @cktftw never hurts to ask!

Single 500g orders aren't available for this deal due to the packing time due to the shorter dispatch week next week (Mon and Tues are public holidays). However, you're able to order 2x500g bags, so you could use one as soon as it arrives and put the other one in your freezer to extend the freshness until you need it :)

  • Lime Blue's Decaf is very solid.

I love the taste of coffee and consider myself a snob, but have been trying to cut back on caffeine for health reasons (sleep quality has been improving a lot since going decaf).

    +1

    • Why not just cut off coffee before sleep instead?

      • I don't drink before sleeping, i drink in the morning and maybe a top up in the arvo.

        • +1

Dang, even the afternoon cup keeps you up at night? That’s rough 😬

          • @kaleidoscope: There's a difference between being kept up and having the quality of your sleep deteriorated by residual caffeine.

The halflife of caffeine is 3-6 hours.

    • Im the same and will be buying the decaf. Highly recommended

      • Fantastic @skidexa thank you so much for another order and such a terrific recommendation, both truly mean so much for us!!!

    • Amazing to hear, thank you so much for your terrific and most welcomed vote of confidence, I'm wrapped that our Decaf is a winner for you!

Finger's crossed your sleep quality keeps getting better and better :)

  • I wont be grabbing any this round as I have plenty of "Thank You" blend, but I wanted to say it is a beautiful coffee.
I'm a self confessed snob and "Thank You" is almost the perfect blend for me. It's super rich but well rounded and interesting enough to be a daily coffee. I've had it as a long black, double shot mug, and double ristretto flat white and it shines in all of them. I was surprised at how smooth the black was (espresso with hot water) and will try in an AeroPress next.
    Cheers!

    • WOW @depecid absolute music to my ears, that's such wonderful, uplifting feedback to receive, thank you so much for sharing your experience with our Thank You blend!!!

I'm wrapped to know how much you've been enjoying our fresh coffee and hope you continue to love future coffees from us :)

  • Are any of your beans suited for cold brew? :)

    • +1

Hey @coastbargain glad you've reached out to check!

I believe all 3 options will perform really well for cold brew, however I think you'll enjoy our Honduras La Paz Single Origin the most for cold brew :)

  • Hey Tom, do you allow pick up? I'm actually visiting Melbourne right now.

    • +1

Hey @sphinxy never hurts to ask!

At present we don't have a click and collect option, we will revisit this in the future to see if we can come up with a perfect c&c system.

I hope you have a fantastic trip :)

  • Tom you are just the Christmas gift that keeps on giving :D

I love the Brazil São Paulo, more of a campos style coffee drinker (large latte oat milk), so don’t like it super strong or super acidic (I think), should I try the Honduras (ie would it be similar)?

Also will def be getting some more decaf as this is great too!

My 2024 customer request wish would be a 50/50 blend of decaf and caffeinated beans :D

    • +1

WOW @dammit what a wonderful Christmas gift (your terrific, uplifting vote of confidence) to receive from you, thank you so much and also in advance your next order with us!!!

Wonderful you hear you love our very special Brazil SO. Based on your preference feedback I believe you should really enjoy our Honduras, in terms of it's flavour notes it'll roughly be in between that of our Brazil and Peru (if you've tried our Peru).

Hard to not note such a nicely worded wish request (you're also not the only one pushing for this), as such request duly noted. I can't promise we'll launch a blend similar to your request, but I can promise I'll dedicate some time in Q1 2024 to do more testing and if I can find a cafe/decaf combo blend that I think is delicious then we'll run with it and see where it goes :)

      • Thank you Tom! Managed to scrape thru getting an order in as the prices are still active - phew! And trying out the Honduras.

Currently I mix 10g Brazil with 10g decaf when making my partner’s latte and it works pretty well ! :)

  • OP any ‘thank you’ left? I was traveling and missed the deal. Could use at least a kilo (with maybe more from Nicaragua)

    • Hey @randomdude14 sounds terrific, our Thank You blend is still available for ordering via our site for the foreseeable future :)

Hope you had a fantastic trip!

      • Thanks Tom. Is the Thank you deal still on?

        • Sure thing @randomdude14 :)

The Thank You blend deal ended, so it's currently only available at regular price.

  • That's good timing, I was starting to run low on beans. Giving the Honduras a shot this time

    • Fantastic, love when the timing works out perfectly for customers!

Thank you so much for another terrific order @dav3 fingers crossed you love our Honduras Single Origin :)

  • Ah realised the thank you blend offer has finished, was just about to order another for delivery in Jan! took a couple of shots to adjust the extract but is a well balanced cup, and for sub $30/kg to the door was a great price!

    • Hey @Seraphim sincerely appreciate you sharing such terrific feedback!

Thank you so much for ordering our Thank You blend recently, I'm wrapped to know it's been such a winner for you, fingers crossed one of the coffees featured in this current deal is a winner for you as well :)

  • +1

We need a Colombia Santa Elena deal next year! I like it iced, usually black but sometimes with a dash of milk. And it has the most amazing notes of milk chocolate…

    • How wonderful to read such a positive and descriptive review of our amazing Colombia Santa Elena Single Origin (of course a totally unbiased description by me haha) @caffeine69 thank you so much for sharing such fantastic feedback!

Request duly noted, we don't have much still available, so I'll have to look into whether we can get more in the new year. In the meantime, perhaps our Nicaragua SO featured in this deal might be a winning ticket for you, not quite as fruity as our Santa Elena, but is relatively similar in overall flavour :)

  • Do you sell ground beans? Is it possible to get 500g whole beans and 500g ground for AeroPress?

    • Hey @sween64 appreciate you reaching out to check!

We do offer pre-ground coffee, it's just not currently available for the products featured in this deal. Perhaps you could get 500g from one of the deal options and 500g ground from one of our regular price options :)

  • Hey Tom

Returning customer here ! Must say i haven't ordered in a while but really excited and looking fwd to tasting the Lime Blue coffee again next week ! Merry xmas to you & keep up the outstanding work :)

    Sincerely,
    John

    • Hey @heretisj John,

I'm thrilled to hear you're back into the ordering routing and looking forward to receiving more fresh coffee from us. Thank you so much for placing another fantastic order!

Right back at you and we'll keep working hard to stay in your good books :)

      Best Wishes,

      Tom.

  • The courier company they use sux. Taken nearly 2 weeks following dispatch and still not here.

    • +2

Hey @canny thank you so much for your recent order with us, it does mean a lot!

Shucks, that's a frustrating time line to hear about, so I can imagine how you may feel. 2 weeks likely means something's gone wrong, pleased send a reply email to your order confirmation requesting we look into the delivery for you. For future reference if you select the "no delivery company preference flat rate shipping" you'll automatically be assigned either Australia Post or Couriers Please. If you have a delivery company preference then you're able to select that specific delivery company at the checkout. Both companies have issues with a bit under 1% of orders, be it damage, delay or lost. Overall performance it good, but we have yet to find a 100% perfect delivery company, the search will continue :)

      • Thanks for the reply. I have sent an email. I am sure it is a busy time with courier companies this time of year.

        • Appreciate the email, I believe I've replied, please let me know if I've somehow missed it :)

Things are still slightly hectic for delivery companies, but the good news is we're getting to the tail end of peak delivery season, so hopefully heads back in the right direction of super speedy deliveries!

    • @canny I used to have the odd issue too , but now using couriers please it’s going way better and no issues any more. I order a few more weeks in advance too and allow the beans 2 weeks post roast date before using them, and keep some extras bags in the freezer just to be safe!

  • Grabbed a kilo of Honduras, as per my monthly order
Comments above seem good for milky coffees and for cold brew.

Pre order for delayed dispatch is the way to go

A kilo of Peru SO delayed dispatch on its way to me today

    • Hey @Spending2Much WOW thank you so much for pulling the trigger on another order with us, glad the comments above caught your attention. Your continued support really does mean so much!

p.s. love your planning ahead skill and it's terrific to know our unique scheduled/delayed dispatch system is a real winner for you :)

  • Many thanks, given the glowing reviews by many self professed coffee snobs here, I have grabbed a few KGs of the Honduras to scratch my morning espresso itch!

    • Absolutely fantastic to hear @hardjards I'm so glad the thoughtful comments above (thank you everyone) caught your eye!

Thank you so much for placing your first order with us, it truly means so much and is an opportunity we won't take for granted. Fingers crossed our Honduras SO is a real winner for you :)

  • Grabbed 1kg for me and 2 for the in-laws. Been enjoying your coffee this year, thanks!

    • +1

Hey @SgtGrumbles (much say your Oz Bargain Username brings a smile) thank you so much for for placing another terrific combo order with us, fingers crossed our fresh coffee keep us in your good books and in turn you in your in-laws :)

I'm really wrapped to know that you've been enjoying our coffee throughout 2023 and I truly hope your enjoyment continues throughout 2024!

  • Website saying 1kg of Honduras sold out but 500gm bags available at higher cost?

    • +1

Hey @DeeGee appreciate the heads up!

We've got relatively limited stock, so I just needed to rejig the availability of each SKU, apologies, all sorted now. Feel free to fire off your order now :)

      • Great will do, thank you

        • Fantastic :)

  • If I wanted to perform a coffee faux pas and mix the decaf with another similarly roasted bean, do you have a recommendation? Would either of the two on sale match?

    • @LimeBlueCoffee

      • Hey @Unotifoso appreciate you taking the time to reach out!

Within this deal I'd recommend experiment with the blend using our Honduras. Outside of this deal then I'd recommend either our Brazil or Peru Single Origins :)

  • @LimeBlueCoffee, it's showing me $31.19 & $29.99/kg respectively. Is that correct?

    • Hey @mikstylo never hurts to double check!

I believe you have 2x500g bags selected, as opposed to 1x1kg bag. As mentioned in the deal description it's an extra $3.60 for the smaller packaging due to the extra bags, labels and time it takes to pack (more than double the time). On the product pages under the packaging menu, you can easy change to 1kg bags and you'll see an instant price change :)

      • Thanks, Tom. Ordered 2 of each.

        • WOW @mikstylon what an amazing order, thank you so much, it truly means so much!!!

  • Can we specify the roast level? If not, what is the default? I usually prefer light/medium roasted coffee

    • Morning @ColourWolf appreciate you taking the time to reach out, always best to check, better safe than sorry!

The coffees in this deal are medium omni roasted. As a general rule if a product page "beverage base" is described as suiting both black and white (milk based) coffee then we'll be medium omni roasting it. If we only recommend a coffee as "best enjoyed black" then we'll be roasting it on the lighter side of medium omni. Fingers crossed you find a winner in the options :)
