    Greenlights audio book… He's a weird guy.
My take from that was..be an alpha male..whatever it takes.

    • +1

my take (not greenlights audible) but him generally is being humble - be man your words so as don't be looking over your shoulders ie owe money or promises.

    • +2

Imagine living in a world where everyone is trying to be "Alpha" 100% of the time.
      pls no.

New word to me, thanks! Very relevant.

That's what I love about Matthew McConaughey, man. I get older, he stays the same age.

  • Kids book?

    • i bought it for the wife, sure it will give her more use telling me 'just because' in more scenarios.

Overrated actor, turned motivational speaker. Motivational BS to me is the same as NFTs and other fads that people get onto to milk the average man/woman. We're a lost generation always looking for guidance from celebrities. Our ape brains can't cope with the complexities of modern life, and for some reason, we think this is fixable. It's not.

    • 😦

      • +1

Well at least it might bring some awareness of these complexities. Only a Sith deals in absolutes

        • And celebrities are our best source of wisdom for that?

When i read this book to my 2 year old I can’t help but do a deep southern accent. He is very confused.

Just because… he’s famous doesn’t mean his words have wisdom.
