Why bother? Unless you really want Steam points or something…

      • +1

I had a $50 steam gift card, so for me it was free.

Cheaper on gamebillet AU$ 36.78 but I've never heard of the site before.

I've used it a number of times over the years. No issues at all. It's not even grey market since it's displayed on isthereanydeal.

    • +2

I had a look and saw this “This product can not be activated and played in your country.” 😢

      • Odd, both Standard and Deluxe versions are coming as Activates in your region.
You dont have any georouting happening on your network (ie: Turkey), by any chance ?

      • +1

        I'm seeing the same thing.

      • +2

I regularly buy keys from GameBillet and can confirm, this particular listing doesn't activate for me.

They're totally legit. I buy from them pretty consistently, mostly Sega/Atlus stuff where they are the cheapest (And going back a year or two, the official Atlus Soul Hackers 2 webpage actually had Gamebillet listed among its 'where to buy' FAQ and information, so there's no question at all that they're above board for me)

The little cashback thing Gamebillet does is pretty neat too :D
That said.. yeah I'm getting the Non-Australia activation warning on this one too that the others are mentioning :/

Haven't heard of Green Man Gaming before. They safe?

    • +12

      You've been here 4 years

      • +1

Yep!!! Haven't paid much attention to game sites.

        • +1

Or the search bar I guess. I'd rely far more on checking out previous deals than on some random user replying to your comment here.

          • +5

@King Steuart: I know it's not the OzB way but maybe I like interecting with people, and if a few people on here say it's safe that usually helps. All good!

        • Bought a handful of games from them over the last 2 years and no issues

    • +1

Yes, they're a very well established site - been using them for 10+ years at a guess

    • +3

GMG is long established and legit

    • +4

      GMG is great.

I've regularly won games from them as well (Starfield the most recent!) - they used to have a Wheel of Mystery years ago, and currently they do a lot of regular events on discord. (Mostly random game keys, or for vouchers for £5-10.)

They are a legit company, and are usually the best for getting new releases as when you are logged in you can claim an extra 3% discount voucher as well. (One a month).

Only problems are sometimes new releases you might not get in straight away as they are relying on key release from the publishers, so if you want to be guaranteed downloading the first minute, go steam for pre-orders. (And choose Steam if you think you might want to refund the game, as the 2 hour/2 week Steam window is the best for refunds).

    Mine now demiguise.

  • +2

I bought the deluxe version from GMG since it’s currently the cheapest available and with the 3% off voucher from their December XP Bonus Pack (accessible from the #giveaways channel on their Discord) the total came to $41.21.

  • $36 @ EPIC games (with coupon)
    $35.09 @ gamebillet
