      8GB is fine for windows 11… :) if you want to play games or do some very heavy app work you need 16Gb's… because nvme ssd's are so fast these days when the ram is full and it uses nvme SSD storage its not as bad as it used to be when switching to hard drive.

    yeah it looks like this is an AU poverty special sku as in other countries it comes with a standard business spec (ie. low quality) IPS panel

    what's important to me is that you can upgrade the storage

    it has a normal nvme slot + a 2.5 sata but you may need to buy the flex cable to connect the drive up

    ie:

      school should supply microsoft 365 license, so better than what my son had in year 7 that school supplied at higher cost. for school 14” fits into backpacks. battery might be an issue and benefits of USB charging is is can use power bank in emergency.
