Good price on the Minu. We have that for travelling when we don’t want to use the Vista.

    • Hey mate, I have the Vista too but considering the Minu for travel. How was it on the plane? Torn about this price and Redsbaby Skip

      • It doesn’t fit in cabin. But we got a free travel bag with ours so we either check it in or gate check. If taking it on plane isn’t essential it’s a cracking pram. We barely put the Vista in the car either now we have this

      • I also did this. It fits in an overhead locker but is too big for some airlines so they can make you check it. It works well as a second lightweight pram either way and has better suspension etc than other travel prams. It also has a better load capacity for the basket than others.

      • +1

The Mini is technically a smidge out of gauge dimensionally but we have fit it in the overhead compartments of a 787, A330, A320neo and 737 without much trouble. It's a PITA to get down the aisle in front of you though, so it's not something that's practical to do solo. Bring an extra pair of hands to carry the pram, make an effort to be first on to get the space and avoid knocking everyone's elbows on the way past, and pick seats close to the doors to minimise the awkward squeeze. It's great to have around the airport terminal, but our kid didn't find it as comfortable as the Vista. If you were going to check something in, you might as well just take the big pram.

      • +1

Take a look at the Bugaboo butterfly too! We got one after tossing between the Minu and butterfly and it has served us very well. Travelled on ANA to Toyko and they were fine with us taking it all the way to the plane, and it easily fit in the overhead bin.

Walking around the city for many hours at a time, bub was quite happy with it and it was perfect for travel (especially as we needed to go up and down stairs so the single hand close/open was a godsend)

        • +1

Same experience with the butterfly … In fact wife hardly used the Vista even locally as it's so much lightly and folding the butterfly (with one hand) was so much easier. We have a newborn again now so back to Vista we go for local use :(

    • In terms of travelling, do you mean just on roadtrips or have you been able to take it onto the plane as cabin luggage (seems from reviews that it's too large)? That's the main thing holding me back from the Minu when other compacts like the Yoyo or Joolz Aer are cabin sized.

      • +1

Don’t see much need to have it in cabin personally. So we either check at check in or sometimes gate check in its bag.

Any fellow OZB used this with a newborn? Would I need to purchase the bassinet?

    • Need to know this

    • +2

      6 months to 23 kg.

Suitable from birth with Infant SnugSeat or Bassinet accessory (sold separately)

      • Thanks

        • One of the free Accessories in this deal is the snug seat (worth approx (90). The other is the cup holder!

      • The Cruz comes with the snug seat as one of the free accessories.

        • I bought it from Baby Kingdom but didn't come with the snug. The promotion was a free matching bag.

    • +2

Hey Joe, have a read of this https://www.reddit.com/r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu/comments/yao2j…
I guess its a preference, some swear by capsules with adapters to prams, other swear by the bassinet. Have a read through and see what works for your lifestyle. We're due soon as well and all our new parent mates prefer the bassinet. You can also pick bassinets up on Facebook or Ebay for cheap as they are only needed for around 6 months (or around the time the baby can support their head).

      • Thanks appreciate the help

    • Yes. We purchased an in-seat thing with it, which is just foam padding that reduces the seat size (I believe it’s called the snug-seat as mentioned elsewhere). It’s a great pram, very nice to use.

      • Thanks appreciate the help

        • +1

No worries. I think I should have said ‘no, but you need to purchase something’ as we got that snug seat instead of the bassinet. I’m sure you figured that out anyway. All the best!

    • Definitely no good for new born. We used it with our maxi cosi capsule but you’ll need to buy adapters

      • +1

The bassinet from the Vista also fits I believe. As does the snug seat

    • +1

Depends on the baby, I have the bassinet but my son refuse to be in it

      • Same here. We borrowed the bassinet to use with our Cruz for our newborn and she hated it. We changed over to the snug seat and she preferred that so much more.

    • Vista here. Bassinet is pretty nice for newborns if you want to have them sleeping somewhere out like visiting etc. Also pretty comfortable for them for an easy walk. If it's mostly for transport or walking where you would want them buckled in, could just get a capsule. We used the capsule and the bassinet pretty extensively although the kids outgrew the bassinet by about 6 months.

    • we got this with the snug seat. no need for bassinet

    • Got a 4 month old and have been using this one with the uppababy bassinet. Works perfect and the pram is compact, but with a lot of storage.

If you don’t want the bassinet, there is also a newborn insert that works great. We’ve used both and solely the newborn insert since a couple of weeks.

    • I bought the bassinet from Market place and still using it. Thd baby is not 3 months old.

    • We have this pram and it came with the snug seat for newborn. Don't waste money on a bassinet. It'll outgrow in three months. We still have the pram 2.5 years later for the second baby coming in February.

    • we got a bassinet that came ‘free’ with the cruz 2, it was not really used much. the baby preferred the inclined seating position of the normal pram seat with the snug fit

I purchased this on Boxing Day and was hoping it would have shipped. But then I read their warehouse is closed til the 7th so orders will be shipped after. I also used the code WELCOME10 and it bought it down to $629.10.

    • Legend.

    • Thanks for this! Just ordered mine with the code. Can always count on theOzB community on making a great deal even better!

    • Appears that code has been changed now. No longer gives the discount but says it gives you 'free shipping', which is redundant as it's free for this size order anyways :(

      • Damn that sucks! It was working last night. They must have changed it this morning.

      • +1

Try use the referral code 5% off?

    • Have you got an update on your order? Getting worried order will get cancelled in the chance that they dont have enough stock to cover all the orders

      • I haven't gotten a shipping email yet but their website looks like they have all colours of the Cruz still in stock so I wouldn't be worried. They just had a set allocation for the "mystery colour sale" which ended the sale early.

      • Mine still says processing. I'm going to be so annoyed if its cancelled as I ordered on boxing day. I hope they allocate based on order time.

  • +1

Good pram. Worth spending the extra over Redsbaby etc for something you will get a heap of use out of.

  • Thanks OP. Your timing was delightful.

  • Got the flagship uppababy v2. Def worth it if you have two kids close to age.

These things run a smooth as butter.

Not sure about the Cruz though.

  • First born coming this month, kind of glad I already got the Vista because if this deal had come up sooner I would have had to get this deal but definitely a very hard time convincing the better half

  • +1

Fantastic price OP. For those for whom the Vista is bit too big and heavy, this is a great option.

  • Got this pram and really love it. Everyone goes the vista but they are so bulky and get in the way at cafes etc.

  • +2

Thanks op purchased! Anyone in Perth up for potential colour swaps??? 😀

Ps Selected free shipping over Residential (whatever that means)?

    • +2

Yeah maybe, let’s see what shows up!

    • +2

      yup, me too!

    • Looks like we are getting Noa (navy) from the shipping info.

  • we have this. good pram, got it last year for 799 and it was a good price then

  • The Cruz is great, ours has served as well for 18 months now

  • +1

For the capsule vs bassinet, you're not supposed to keep the baby in the capsule for more than 90min. Hence would suggest people to consider a bassinet.

  • Great find! Thank you.
Does anyone have any suspicions what colour it may be? Fingers crossed it’s grey!

  • +2

    Thanks OP and PropertyPig.

Just picked up the Cruz 2. I'm based in Sydney
Looking for others who are interested in potential colour swap if the mystery colour received is not ideal. Please reply here or send me a message :)

    • +2

I am in Sydney too and just bought. After Liam or oat color.

    • +2

Also in Sydney. Will let you know what colour we get.

      • Let’s keep in touch here

    • +2

Also in Sydney and open to a swap. Will let you know what colour we get.

    • I have just got my order email, ETA tomorrow. They stated the color in the email, I got navy (noa) and would like to trade to Liam, Anthony, Gregory, or Greyson.

    • Sydney swap: I am getting the Noa/Navy blue colour delivered tomorrow. I quite like the colour and that the navy colour fabric is used all the way through the pram including the footrest, however potentially open to a swap for a Silver frame Cruz 2 :) Message if interested

  • +3

Hi just bought one as well in Melbourne, like above poster also flagging here if anyone wants to potentially swap if the colour isn’t what we/they hoped for.

    • +1

Also in Melbourne. Open to swaps once we receive our orders

      • +1

In Melbourne too! Up for a swap if we are thinking of exchanging colours!

    • +1

One more in Mel for potential colour swaps if required

    • +1

Also in Melbourne for potential swap in colours.

    • +1

Also in Melbourne, open to swaps :)

    • Got the order confirmation. We are getting the Navy (Noa). If anyone is wanting to swap for either Black (Jake) or Oat (Liam) colours please let me know :)! Thanks

    • Any in Melb keen to trade for Noa (Navy)? We'd like a light colour, preferably Blue Melange (Gregory). Willing to consider Green or Charcoal.

    • Just received Noa/Navy blue colour. Anyone interested in trading in Melbourne, VIC 3977? We are after green.

  • I’ve got a bugaboo cameleon 3 but about 7 years old, still going strong. Would it be worth upgrading though?

  • $60 cup holder - says it all, really.

  • Great bargain, thanks OP.
Can we return the product if we do not like the mystery colour ? It’s unclear policy on change of mind so asking if someone has experience.

  • +2

We have the Uppababy Alta, as the Cruz was called in the Australian market initially. Still using it daily 3 children and 8 years later. Get the bassinet off marketplace in mint condition. Enjoy the ease of folding, large basket, quality and light weight.

  • +1

I have the Cruz V2 and not a fan, the seat sits lower than the Alta and Cruz V1 which means you can stack less in the pram basket. In addition there is a cross beam in the basket which reduces space. I tried finding adaptors to increase the height of the seat but didn’t exist. One positive about the Cruz v2 is the shade canopy has been redesigned to extend much further than the v1 model, helps a lot with sun protection. Overall, if I had the choice again I would buy a good condition v1 Cruz or Alta

    • Upgrade to a vista with no regret. Kid literally sits adult eye level with the height extended and basket big enough for our weekly shopping even with the second seat installed.

  • +1

Really good review on this pram on YouTube https://youtu.be/ko0h9xjx-bI?si=V8ReywHV_8kmO09o

  • Many thanks OP!

  • Cruz V2 is out if stock :(

  • Cruz is OOS

  • OOS

  • Missed out on the Cruz v2. Anyone looking to sell due to wrong colour let me know.

    Melbourne based

  • Did they remove the textbox to enter discount code in checkout completely? Or could anyone please point me to?

    • I think they might have, can't see it anymore either.

    • I think they did. I went to see if the code worked still and it’s gone.

  • Also missed out on the Cruz v2 in Melbourne. Anyone looking to sell please let me know!

  • Ack, missed out on the Cruz too! Based in Sydney if anyone wants to sell!

  • Anyone travel with the Cruz on a plane? What's your experience been?

  • Anyone with a colour they don't like yet? Would happily purchase Melbourne based cheers

  • Anyone in Brisbane made an order? Posting for potential colour swaps once they arrive.

    • +1

From Brisbane, would be keen for a potential swap

    • I'm in Brissy, got Navy. Keen to swap. Pm me if interested.

    • Also received Navy in Brisbane. If anyone wants to swap send me a PM

  • I submitted a price match request on the Minu V2 to baby bunting and now with the price going up they want a screenshot of the website to match it (because they took too long to review it)

Does anyone have a screenshot of the minu price by any chance?

    • The sale ended yesterday, so doubt they would match it now. Should have gone in store for a price match, can never rely on the online teams getting back to you in time.

      • They said because of their delays if i have a screenshot they will match it. So jist looking for someone who might have screenshot it

    • +2

hey they have the price listed on the coolkidz instagram. 4th post 4th photo across. not sure if that is sufficient?

      • Thanks! That should help!

  • Has anyone had a dispatch confirmation? I ordered for Brissy on 2nd Jan and it still says "Processing"

    • +1

      Nothing yet mate, still waiting
