For those looking for a good entry level robot vacuum cleaner, this is probably the cheapest LiDAR-based cleaner. LiDAR (laser) based cleaning robots are usually seen at high end models as it offers more accurate mapping and navigation, and is supposedly better at obstacle avoidance.

2600 PA, 450ml dust bin and 120 mins runtime also seemed decent for everyday use.

Better off with Lubluelu since you can also add the station?

Depends on your cleaning needs I suppose, if you don't need the mopping function then you are better off with this one since it has a bigger dust bin (no water tank). Plus not much point adding a station for an entry level cleaner imo.

Decent deal if the vacuum turns out to be half decent. I picked up the recent deal on the mopping Yeedi, it's quite good but it does take longer and sit there sometimes working out where to go next compared with my lidar Xiaomi 1S (which this one looks like a knock off of). If you are in a house where people leave things lying around and the robot needs to navigate changes in the map often, I would stick to lidar. On the other hand if you have a neat house or are willing to spend 5 minutes neatening up prior to activating the robot, you might be able to save a bit or get some additional features getting a cheaper one that uses a camera

        • Do you like the yedi?
          Im thinking of returning ours
Tried the mapping feature twice with no lick

          • @1Kenobi: Don't bother with the mapping on the yeedi, it doesnt have lidar so its not effective.

          • @1Kenobi: Mine mapped fine, the issue is there's small demons in my house that move furniture and leave things lying around, and it slows it down significantly compared with my xiaomi/roborock unit

Depends really, the new Lubluelu has 4000pa suction power and is currently selling for ~$260. I think it will have much better vacuuming than this on paper. Only real pro of this woud be the dust bin

        • Where for 260?

          • @1Kenobi: Their eBay store $259, but the white one only. Also has a best offer option so you might be able to get it cheaper.

            • @Cousin IT: Thats the 3200 not the 4000?

              • +1

@1Kenobi: Sorry, couldn't find the 4000Pa on either eBay or Amazon and their website had it for the full price $549.99 when I first checked.

But it's now changed and this deal might help you. 😉

With the Lubluelu, you can change the dust bin for one without the mop, it's a 600ml dust bin but you also lose the ability to use the station if you change it.

Sold out on Amazon, but still available on the Lubluelu site for $38 + delivery.

            @Cousin IT: $30.40 delivered with code "lubluelu20".

Thanks for that, I actually bought the docking station as the combo vac/mop bin fills pretty quickly, but I reckon I'll return it and get one of these instead!

Cheers, I grabbed this as ours just died. After years of having a mopping one and never using the mopping function, we decided better to have less points of potential failure.

What's the current ozbargain favourite robot vacuum cleaner. I need to get one for my mum and have a budget of up to around $700 with mopping function of course for that price.

      Roborock S7 with self empty

    Do I buy
or do I wait for Lubluelu to get to $215 (was 250~ish during xmas).
Or wait for another Dreame D9 insane $200 deal which will likely never happen again

    • Only 2 reviews on Amazon, both positive… anyone got any first hand experience with this one and can vouch for it?

      • +1

They look like fake reviews, they've only reviewed this product

        • Quite a lot of those on Amazon haha

I have a Lubluelu and it does the job well. Have not bothered with mopping but I use mapping which I save almost 2 months ago and is going good.

    • Buy Lubluelu now, you won't be disappointed, especially if you have hard floors, it's amazing.

      • Name checks out.

    • Hope you bought one, it's sold out on eBay (so price is unlikely to go back down), and $275 on Amazon for "50% off" the bullshit RRP of $550.

  • also wondering if this product is any good. i don't need a mop function but a reliable vac that avoids areas with lots of obstacles…

i bought Emma before and that was a horrible experience so returned it…

  • This looks like a clone of the Viomi V2 Pro (https://www.viomi.com/robot-vacuums/viomi-v2-pro)? Even the charger looks the same.

  • Will this transition ok from hardwood to a rug?

    • Exactly what I am wondering…
