[Presale] Lubluelu SL60D 4000Pa Robot Vacuum $260.19 Delivered @ Lubluelu

1051
LULU37

Hi Guys,

Both Black and White AU models available as presale with stock arriving January 10 as per Lubluelu

Lubluelu has the newer 4000Pa SL60D (Lubluelu has confirmed that it's newer hardware) for sale on their site and can stack with code LULU37 for an extra 37% off. Site says it includes free shipping so it comes to $260.19 or $260.18 if you're lucky 😜, not sure why it changes as have received both prices when adding to the cart and applying the code. 🤷🏽

Black AU variant is also available for the same price.

You can also pickup the bigger dust bin, not sure if they will include it in with the free delivery purchased together. Might be worth purchasing separately with code lubluelu20 - might be the 20% off sign up offer?. Thanks to The Judge

Or if you prefer the Black only Auto-empty Station it's available for $156 delivered with code 120offsd80. Be aware that the AU variant is sold out and it's the EU variant, so you'll either need an adaptor or a replacement power cable, sorry not sure which and I couldn't find any info on the connection. Perhaps a fellow Ozbargainer who has one already could let us know if it's a replaceable power cable.

Thank you Vavoom for confirming that the Auto-empty Station will need an adaptor.

  • Isn't the SL60D 3000Pa?

    • +7

      Apparently it's been updated.

What I would love to know is whether it's a firmware update that allows it to go up to the 4000Pa or newer hardware?

I've asked Lubluelu support, I'll let you guys know what they reply.🤞🏽

      • +2

Same model number would be very confusing.

      • +1

Thanks - please let us know! keen to get one of these.

      • +9

Yeah would be interesting to know as well. The black variant ^^ says 3000Pa on its page, the ebay listing says 3200Pa for the same model and the white variant says 4000Pa. Now I'm thinking if it's all made up lol. But keen to see what the support team says! Thanks

      • +1

        Please let us know!

        • I got this back from them via ebay

“We have enhanced the suction adjustment of the SL60D (black and white) sweeping robot and increased it to 4000Pa by replacing internal parts.
But because the evaluation process for other platforms is still ongoing, to avoid potential confusion, our company has chosen to retain the original parameter descriptions on these platforms.
It should be noted that although the network parameter description remains unchanged, the actual suction power has indeed been upgraded to 4000Pa.”

      • +1

        waiting :), thanks @Cousin IT

      • +2

I confirmed with support earlier this week that it is a new version with 4000pa

        • Very interesting… wanted the black model but I guess I should probably go with the white for some extra suck.

      • Interesting.. the description for the black variant says 3000Pa, the same description for the white one says 4000Pa. 🤷
        Waiting here as well. :)
        Thanks.

      • So i'm guessing this is the pro version like on the UK ebay SL60D Pro
Keep old name and sell older stock elsewhere
        https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/145524081756

      • I finally received a reply. It's pretty much word for word as @Teraa's reply below

Thank you for reaching out to us. I extend my sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused. We have enhanced the suction adjustment of the SL60D (black and white) sweeping robot by replacing internal parts, elevating it to 4000Pa. However, as the evaluation process on other platforms is still ongoing, to avoid potential confusion, our company has chosen to retain the original parameter descriptions on those platforms. It is important to note that despite the unchanged network parameter description, the actual suction power has indeed been upgraded to 4000Pa. We highly appreciate your understanding during this transition phase and want to reassure you that we are committed to delivering improved product functionality.

They've now updated the price on their eBay listings too, so directly on their site is the cheapest for the 4000Pa, followed by Amazon at ~$300 with the $250 off code and then eBay between at ~$349 - $359.

        • So, I bought mine yesterday on Ebay. Does that mean it’s the 4000Pa?

Why is the message so confusing?!

          • @muckingfuppet: There is a barcode sticker on the back of the box. Does it say 3000pa or 4000pa?

      • @Cousin IT

What response did you get from Lubluelu support?

I am genuinely curious to understand how they claim this to be new/different from previous versions which were/are still sold on Amazon, eBay, and their webstore ….

Which relates to my comment asking why is this a presale (assuming the specs advertised on Lubluelu website, and also on eBay and Amazon for this product, is exactly the same as the specs advertised 1, 2, 3 months ago) … I genuinely can't find any differences with new features, new capability, or new specifications.

EDIT: Wait I read your reply about the elevation and changes to internal parts — time for a please explain request to Lubluelu support 😂🤣

        Cheers!!

        • Confirmed from Lubluelu eBay store, only difference is changing spec from 3200 to 4000pa. Didn't mention the parts were different tho …

I also see they pulled all the products from eBay

highly recommend this robot vacuum. I got one from amazon and it does everything I would expect it to do. 90% of a $1000 robot vacuum at 30% price tag.

    • +2

      I second this. Love it

    • +1

Hows the navigation, mapping and app?

      • +3

it's pretty good, however I have an open support ticket right now. As the robot sometimes just gets confused and kind of mushes rooms together and decides to just lose it's way whilst vacuuming and go all over the place and get lost. It's only happened twice but when this happens the map gets completely messed up. If anyone else has this issue, the temporary fix is to save your map so that you can reset the map again. Other than that annoying issue it does the rest of the job pretty well.

        • Do you need to register for an account to save the map? Which app are you using, please?

    • +17

Just throwing in my recommendation for this thing as well.

I went in with very low expectations, this thing floored me (no pun intended). I had no experience with robot vacuums prior.

Takes about 10 seconds to map a room, then does a really good job with object detection. Very easy to set boundaries, the mopping is really good.

The only call outs I have are

      • It very quickly finds where it is in a room if you move it around, but if the charging base moves a centimeter it just gives up on life entirely and drops to the floor like a toddler in the supermarket. Secure it with tape or something
      • This is probably more of a robot vacuum issue, rather than this particular model - but - it has a BDSM kink. It incredulously tangles itself around power cords it finds on the ground, and starts crying out "Help stepbrother I'm all tied up again uwu"
    • +1

Same here. I bought the old model recently and it’s great. Automatically zones the house and does most of the sweeping. Build quality seems great.

The only down side seems to be the CCP having a laser scan of my house.

  • +10

DITTO - we got one during Black friday - LOVE IT!

However one quirk - one night it managed to be the "Speaker" for a family members music somehow and was randomly syncing in and out of their Spotify - always interesting to wake up to Miley Cyrus at 3am on the Vac thinking you're going crazy.

Still don't know how that happened.

    • +8

Run for the hills, it might be gaining consciousness 😜

      • +8

The thought did cross my mind…..
I for one welcome our Vac-overloards!

    • +5

No Cyber security expert but it sounds a bit prank-y. I would at least reset wi-fi passwords etc.

      • +1

Does it need constant internet access ir can yiu disconnect the vac afte setup?

        • +2

Needs internet if you want to use the app for mapping, you can press the clean button and it'll go around and clean everything it can find if you don't want to use the app.

          • +1

@fullspend: Thanks for respoding. Just to clarify, the vac still needs interner after the mapping is completed?

            • +1

@bleatz: Not answering authoritatively since I don't have this vac, but in most (all?) cases the app talks to a cloud service which talks to the vacuum: the vacuums (almost?) never communicate locally. So internet connection will be needed to use the app with the vacuum.

              • @Chandler: Thanks for the response. Was hopi g maps are loaded on the vac and not cloud. Can anyone with the vac confirm?

                • +1

@bleatz: Needs internet otherwise you can't control it with the app.

Without the app the map stored in its memory is useless because you can't tell it to clean a certain room, it will just clean everything every time.

Unless you only want it to maintain a small walled off area you are going to need the app. Or you could put it in a room, press the button and close the door.

                  • @fullspend: Thanks! Is there a scheduler built in the vac system without relying on ongoing internet access? Hypotheticaly enable internet connection during mapping, run scheduling and/or whenever the vac needs firmware updates.

                    • @bleatz: It does but like other Tuya devices the scheduled instruction comes from the cloud. How about run this and other IoT devices on a separate VLAN if you're worried?

                      • @fullspend: Thanks for response. That might be the way if fucntuons are cloud dependent. Would have been awesome if scheduler and mapping were all stored locally in the machine.

    • +2

Maybe it is sentinel. From Reddit:

"Mine was singing the Barbie theme song last night, unprovoked"

"I have the SL61 one and it works fine and is good value for money however it randomly started playing the "Feliz Navidad - Merry Christmas song" today and abruptly stopped. I use the SmartLife app in guest mode. It almost seemed like someone was able to cast songs through the bot. Surely this can't be normal. Anyone else experienced this?"

      • +2

yeah not connecting mine to the app until someone on forums can explain this. it does a good enough job without.

  • +3

For the docking station: you'll need to select the correct variant. The cable is hardwired into the dock.

So if the AU variant is sold out you'll need an adapter.

  • +2

Is this better than yeedi cube by ecovacs?

    • The lubluelu excells in everything except the mopping. Yeedi always get caught on something even on our low pile carpet, it’s pathetic. The lubluelu just swift through our carpets easily. Although the carpet boost function on the lubluelu has a significant delay when transitioning whereas the yeedi turns on almost immediately.

Yeedi is just convenient cos it does everything. Mind you, the UFO container on my yeedi is already broken after just 2 weeks of use. Reached out to yeedi and was happy for send me a replacement.

I think overall, lubluelu still outshines the yeedi. For it’s price, it’s well worth the money.

  • I see somewhere that this is similar or the same as one of the Kogan ones. Wonder if anyone has got any idea

    • +1

According to previous posts I've seen the Kogan LX16 is a rebadged/OEM model of the SL60D.

If you're keen on saving some $$$ and don't mind Kogan, it's currently $229 for First members or $239 for everyone else. Still cheaper than than the SL60D (3000 - 3200Pa) on eBay, which is $259.

      • this seems like a steal - the plastics look the same though the home and on/off button appear moved

Engineered with mopping function and powerful 3000kPa suction

apparently uses a kogan home auto app - but can be used with an alternative

  • An amazon US link for a black sl91
I dont know au compatibility or difference to sl60

    • +3

apparently SL61 is the cheaper version with just one side brush
      https://lubluelu.com/blogs/buying-guide/comparison-between-t…

      • Beat me to it 👍🏽

    • According to Lubluelu's website the difference seems to be that the SL61 is plastic instead of glass and has only one brush, but gets an extra 5~10mins out of the battery, everything else seems to be the same including the power both state 3000Pa 🤷🏽.

Strange thing is that on the SL61 page doesn't exist anymore even though the menu item is there and the SL60D page also has a comparison chart that shows that both models are 4000Pa.

I'm starting to think that either they've updated the models or the specs aren't really true 😅. Either way, still waiting for their support to reply, hopefully they will.

But from previous posts and deals, it's a decent budget robot vacuum.

      • +1

Probably gets the extra 5-10 min run time because there is a single brush.

  • Does it have mop lift for carpet. If not is this an issue.

    • +2

You're not gonna get something like that in a $260 robot vacuum

      • Yeedi pro does

        • it does too, my mistake!

        • +1

Could you share a link please?

I can't find it 😬, all I can find is the Yeedi Vac 2 Pro, which has Oscillating Mopping and Carpet Detection but no mention of lift. Also no LiDAR, just Visual SLAM and it's $499.

Reviews indicate that it's hit and miss with the navigation (no pun intended), a bit noisy with the oscillating mop, but if you have tiles or hardwood floors, maybe it's worth a look.

          • +1

@Cousin IT: That's the one. Should have clarified that's the sale price it's been twice. Love mine

  • AU variant is in stock.

    • Of the Docking Station? It only shows EU for me.

      • +1

Ah whoops, thought you meant the vacuum itself. My bad.

      • +1

Think you mean auto empty station?

        • Yes, sorry, not sure where I got Docking Station from. I'll update it.

  • +5

Question. I have the original Xiaomi robot vacuum which is still going strong for the last 6 years. What would be the upgrades this has over the Xioami?

    • I'm in the same boat and am wondering the same, mop function would be handy but if there's isn't that much advantage then I'll keep the Xiaomi.

      • Me 3!… the Gen 1 was rated at 1800Pa suction so it would seem 4000Pa ought to be a significant suction power upgrade, but to be honest ours still just does an admirable job and doesn't leave anything behind so I can't see a good enough reason to upgrade yet. Besides even at 6 years old it appears to be the only device I've ever had whose battery just doesn't want to degrade in the slightest, even after the white plastic housing has thoroughly yellowed. The only reason I still check these new Robot Vacuum posts is because the mapping on our Gen 1 is very basic and doesn't support virtual walls, so we just have to close the doors to rooms we don't want it to clean.

    • I replaced my original Xiaomi with the SL60d a couple of months back and have to say I am very happy with it. Key improvements are: better mapping and app, significantly better suction - the Xiaomi had lost alot, better obsticle management and "ground clearance". The only downside was the capacity of the dustbin given it also is the watertank - hopefully I have fixed this by buying the larger dustbin from this post - thanks OP)!

  • +1

Looks like it’s $1 cheaper on eBay? Could stack with some further discount codes and gift cards as well.

Doesn’t seem to include the model number in the title but it states it’s the SL60D in the product description.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/354836199638?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mk…

    • +1

The eBay one says 3200Pa suction power, whilst this one is 4000Pa suction power.
Don't know if there is any other difference though.

      • +1

Yeah OP is checking with their support team. Dunno how the supposed exact same model would have varying levels of suction.

Will see what they come back with.

    • +2

It is a $1 cheaper on eBay. I've mentioned here and on another deal, but as @Ghost Stock pointed out, it's the ~3200Pa not the 4000Pa model.

I've asked support to clarify if it's just a firmware update or newer hardware. If it's firmware then the eBay one will be cheaper, but the Kogan branded (LX16) version will beat that too at $229-$239.

      • Does the Kogan version use the same re-skinned app and firmware? Or is it just the hardware that's the same?

        • uses kogan home auto app - but reddit people say you can use an alternative app.

          also

"Engineered with mopping function and powerful 3000kPa suction"

      • As above they have now confirmed ebay listing is also 4000pa but description yet to be updated
        Weird but that’s their story

  • +3

I concur with the posters above - bought one of these in the recent Black Friday sale ($209 with eBay Plus) and was so impressed I bought a second one for my parents. In my place it manages to suck up around 2 cigarette packets full of fluff and grit each day.

I regretted not buying a second unit for myself so I have one on each floor of my 2 storey house. Today I bought the white one too!

  • Good, find. I prefer the black model. Is it 4000pa or only the white one?

    • +2

I got this response from them.

"Regarding the suction power of the sweeping robot, I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. We have enhanced the suction adjustment of the SL60D (black and white) sweeping robot by replacing internal parts, elevating it to 4000Pa. However, as the evaluation process on other platforms is still underway, to prevent potential confusion, our company has chosen to retain the original parameter description of 3000Pa for the black SL60D sweeping robot. It is crucial to note that despite the unchanged parameters on the website, the actual suction power has indeed been upgraded to 4000Pa".

      • Thanks, I'm still waiting for a reply. 😅😬

They've updated their eBay listings, all of them are now $349 to $359.

  • +1

This or the s8 roborock plus pro?

    • +1

      that's quite a price difference

  • +1

I have one of the original iRobot Roombas sitting in a bot that I was thinking of using again. Would this machine walk all over the Roomba?
Sorry if it’s a silly question as obviously technology has advanced considerably with these things but wonder if they have improved greatly in the actual cleaning they do and not just all the smart features.

    • Irobot were never that good to begin with, the older ones didnt navigate they just bumped zigzagging around the room. Back in the day neato were the ones to get and this one will be light years better than a neato.

  • +1

So how does mopping work if you have a mix of carpet and hard floor?

    • Good question. I've just bought one, and I'm going to find out once it arrives. Thinking I can split the map of my open plan house into different rooms, so mop in the kitchen and then vac in the dining/living room.

      • There is a barcode sticker on the back of the box. Does it say 3000pa or 4000pa?

    • +1

You can set exclusion zones on the map that doesn't allow the device to mop, vacuum only.

  • Thanks, bought the black and the dock. After buying more expensive ones (and returning them) I'm hoping this one can manage the size of the house.

The returns policy is pretty generous, too. Most say the product has to be unused or resellable, whereas theirs says only that it needs original packaging and within 30 days

  • +4

    "What brand is your vacuum?"

    "Lou blew Lou"

    "He did what!?"

    • We call her "Lulu".

  • how long is shipping?
