    The only reason I picked up a fire stick a few months ago, was because it could be powered by tv usb. But after having it for a while now, it’s pretty good

    If you only need the HD version, not much difference. I prefer the Google TV over Fire OS

    The older chromecast units where you need to use your phone are outdated, these google tv units are very good, basically an Android tv box.

  Thanks OP but still got it from google store since its only the cheapest deal $29 for me, my old sony tv tuner died long ago, then even the SD set top box died too few months ago, been just watching TV & news via laptop 7plus site, now with chomecast, TV can be alive again !!! Being a super tight@ss I still refuse to buy a brand new TV LOL!

    I couldn't wait for delivery needed it right away so I could set it up for my parents before I left. For $6 more it was worth not having to walk them through it over the phone (kms).

      It just take next day delivery for me in Sydney, ordered on Wednesday morning, delivered yesterday before noon, super quick!
