Was just on the website, showed available in Melbourne. Changed my postcode to a NSW postcode but it says sold out online

When delivery costs more than the product…. Pity, my kid would have loved it. Got em an RGB keyboard and thinks its the best thing ever, been busy customising colours and effects 😄

Speakers would have lead to disaster though being cabled only. Wouldn't take long till a cable was ripped off in a socket.

Delivery costs more than the chair itself for me.

How about I just pay for delivery and Kmart gives me the chair for $55 🤷

These are being pulled due to the patent on LEDS in gaming chairs.

    • +1

      really who patented

    • +5

Yeah don't think kmart is gonna take this sitting down

      • Their chairperson has already released a statement.

  • Need a new chair for better support. $110 posted is good ok, but how much better is a branded chair, i.e. Battlebull ?

This is highly rated witkn Kmart's system.

  • $89 Delivery for me. Totaling $144..

I found the comments from OP's previous links helpful in convincing me against this purchase.

I got one for my teenage son when they were $99 or something. He doesn't use the RGB lights because the power cord gets in the way, and he doesn't use the speakers because he lives with a headset permanently attached to his head. Also the same issue of the cord getting in the way. So those features are basically wasted.

In terms of comfort, the padding has compressed a lot and it's no longer 'soft', but it doesn't seem to affect him.

For $100 it's fine for a kids chair, but a normal office chair would be much better (if your kids aren't obsessed with the word "gaming" being in the title of every product they buy).

      • Thanks for the info. Padding going hard is what has happened to their current chairs.
Probably take a trip to the local office furniture store and try a few chairs instead.
