  • Anyone have thoughts/reviews on reliability/performance of this for the Switch?

    • I second this! Can anyone speak to its reliability?

Currently i have used about 15 of these cards on various devices. Not all have been 256gb, some were 512gb. I've only had one fail so far.

        • Have you manage to return it ? How is the customer service?

          • @duckworth: Na didn't end up returning it as i had given it away in a gift to someone else. But this Patriot was alright in my experience at returns. I did return something else to this seller and they did refund me after a few messages back and forth in the past tho.

5-pack sounds like a good value for the price. Anybody wants to split a pack?

    • They are extremely good value for what they are.

    • What location? I'm only after 1 personally, but would go in a split purchase.

      • Adelaide. But there may be other cities willing to share too.

        • If you end up with one spare and are willing to post it, let me know. I'm in Brisbane.

    • I’m in for 2 pcs, tks

      • Adelaide too?

Sydney, but Im happy to organise the buying and post (prob extra $1.2 each ? )

          • @jasperdmx: okie-dokie. I'll take 2, you 2, one to d1s34s3d. It will be 65.85:5=$13.2 per card + $1.2 to me and $1.2 d1s34s3d.

I'm not sure only about warranty if any of the cards will die, what do I do?

            • @Ozzster: Oh crap. Yeah, how can we return if only 1 or 2 dead ? Should we return all ? Any idea ?
Or we prob take the bite ?

              • @jasperdmx: It's Amazon, so if one or two need warranty, I'm fairly certain they won't want all returned, especially if you say they're already in use in multiple locations.
Ive only had a handful of items from Amazon have issue, but each one has been a no return needed refund.
I'm keen to go for the deal.

              • @jasperdmx: We'll deal with Amazon. I hope you'll be ok to message them if one of our cards dies.
Go ahead, order and let me know how to communicate to you privately. Cheers.

  • Are these okay to put in security cameras? Particularly the C210s.

    • I have 5 in my tapo cameras. Been running with constant recording for a few months now without any issues.

  • Would not recommend, this was one of my very rare Amazon returns thinking patriot being a decent brand (I think I have one of their SSDs). SD card failed read/write towards the end, very slow read/write, and size is just a smidge smaller than Sandisk/Samsung equivalents (like by a handful of kB) but that makes cloning/imaging a pain.

Might have been unlucky, but I will stick with Samsung/SanDisk…
