Chalk and cheese. These are genuinely awesome and far better than the other style. I cut apples about a half dozen times a day with these. That said, if you don't actually need the grips the ikea one is better. These are also impossible to sharpen and do need a fair amount of force to use.

Na this is way easier and quicker, cuts it perfectly every time and in portions to split amongst kids/adults. I think I paid <$3 from Aliexpress for mine, I probably wouldn't pay $10

If you think insulting someone because they cut apples six times a day is appropriate then it's clear who has the bigger issues here IMHO.
If you can't comprehend cutting 6x per day then you probably live alone and/or not in hospitality.

IMO you'd be better off with a normal apple corer than this overly large gimmick gadget.
