Just bought samsung laptop today at chadstone jb hifi for $573. The guy there give me that price straight away when i ask the best price.

          Personal opinion, but I find a 768 pixel vertical resolution too small.

          I've got a 15" 1650x1050 MSI laptop that I much prefer.

          When I replace it, I'll be looking for something FullHD - 1920x1080.

    Side tracking a bit. I asked jb hifi at galleries Victoria in Sydney last week and they wouldn't budge.I asked if price match bing lee but I was too late 12/10/12 as bing lee 40% off ended 9/10/12.
    I have found jb staff at Pitt st mall a lot easy going and negotiable.
    I'm glad he did knock me back as I ended up getting the bing lee toshiba P850/05F for $689 in store , and more than happy with laptop.
    Yes I know I paid extra $116, but got extra 4GB ram and 250GB HDD.
    Harvey Norman selling toshiba now at $1396 and then take off 30%. $977.

    I was looking at this laptop today. Noticed that TGG have it listed as a clearance item too, but crappy price ($797 I think it was). Now with this receipt I have bargaining power. Thanks OP, will see how I go tomorrow :)

    I bought the same notebook the same day from JB Hi-FI in Townsville and the cheapest they would go was $680. I made them aware I knew it was on special a few weeks back for $634 approx. Man did you get a good deal.

    I cannot find a recovery cd inside the box. For those who bought this notebook as well, do you guys have a recovery cd?

    What should I do if I want to upgrade the hard disk?

      The recovery tools is in the windows. I heard these days new laptop dont come with recovery cd anymore

        The store I went to had no stock, so they shipped one from another store that had them in stock.

        Will they order it in if they can't transfer stock, I would say no as I doubt they'd want to get in Win 7 machines with the release of Win 8 around the corner. But give it a try anyway, got nothing to lose.
