It's bloody terrible.. the base is so narrrow that a slight imbalance causes the whole thing to tip over.

  For the price, any type of weight placed on each side of the base is an easy fix.

  If I'm trying to dry clothes outside (e.g. in winter) I just put a brick on each foot.
  
  If I'm trying to dry or air clothes inside it doesn't really need anything, just stack it evenly each side in turn.

  If you have this Ikea chair at home like many probably do, just fold it flat and one side of the legs fits perfectly between the timber panels of back rest. With the rest of the chair laying over the other side of the base. Been holding mine down that way for a good 4 years or more.
