I have one of these… Would not recommend it,even at the price. Wear OS 3.5 upgrade was already announced to be rolling out yet no signs of it anywhere

Battery life is good, exercise tracking is inconsistent, step counter seems to count 100 steps for every 30 you take.

Side note: Do people actually use the features like sleep tracking, exercise tracking, GPS, etc, on these things? I didn't find them particularly useful, since I carry around a smartphone daily anyway and it just does everything much better. Then again, I might be the wrong type of person for a digital watch.

    • Are you sure about that? I've received the update on the Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra (GPS).

Not sure whether I'd recommend it at this price even if Wear OS 3.5 is available for it. It's OK, reasonable battery life.

      • What else do you recommend for $160?

        • You can get the Lige watches for under $100. I've just received the GT4 pro for a low $41.98 from Temu, I used credits from previous late deliveries and ended up getting it free. While I understand you get what you pay for, in this instance I haven't worn a watch since my Samsung gear 2 and didn't want to spend over $500 on a new Apple/Samsung/Google watch when this one does the same for a tenth of the price.

I also understand opinions are like A holes, everyone's got one doesn't mean we necessarily wanna hear it 😆

          • @Matty V: haha :) .. well never heard of Lige but looks like another option for me to research .. after spending about 20 hours researching Garmin watches.

        • Galaxy Watch 4 for $175?

@CandyMan: I think I had one when released years ago .. battery life is a killer .. dont like daily charging … need MIP display

I received the Wear OS 3.5 upgrade on my 2 years old TicWatch Pro 3 GPS. Need to download the new Mobvoi Health app after the update to pair with the watch.

      • Yeah I'm sure, I checked yesterday. Might be a gradual rollout or something, but I kept refreshing on the watch and nothing showed up.

Edit: realised the wording on my original comment was bad. My SPECIFIC watch has no signs of an update, I have seen online posts with users receiving them though

        • What I did to get the Wear OS 3.5 update - disabled bluetooth, connect watch to WiFi. Go to system update and then tap repeatly tap the little watch icon and it should show there's an update.

Also remember: the watch will be factory reset, so it you will lose all your apps, settings etc after the upgrade to Wear OS 3.5

    • To be honest - love mine. Don't care for the wear OS update as it does remove other features. At the current standing it works as I need it which is to read my messages, track my google fit workouts/heart rates, and ahs google wallet.

  • I had the Tic watch pro 3 ultra and loved it until just recently after exactly a years usage, the main display decided not to work :(

I had an issue with a different model of TicWatch failing at Mobvoi support were fantastic and sent a replacement very quickly. I think my watch was also outside of their 1 year warranty but they still helped me out. Might be worth you getting in touch with them to see if they will replace it for you.

      • Thanks I must give them a try. Fingers crossed, Cheers!

  • Runs wear os 3.5. But poor vibration

  • I wouldnt touch these again for the price.. no OS update and they all suffer the same issue whereby the heart rate and oxygen sensor dies due to water/moisture ingestion.. there is a fix on youtube whereby you open it and clean it with alcohol etc, but the issue eventually comes back permanently.

"upgraded" (2nd hand FB marketplace) to the 3 ultra purely because they fixed above issue permanently, but they didn't deliver on the promise for OS update for this model.

    Do not get Mobvoi products.

  • Great watch. Had mine 2 years. The new update has improved the UI experience, much smoother. Bargain!

  • $199 now

  • Still available, can apply a $40 coupon to the $199 price.

  • It’s had me wondering (thinking) 🤔 whether to grab a LIGE (link below) or the TicWatch Pro 3, wondering if the LIGE will be good enough to track my daily cycling 🚴‍♀️ routine and offer a basic Health and Fitness Monitor or if it’s worth paying the extra for the TicWatch Pro 3….

Also seems like many mixed reviews about both watches, hope too that if I spend the extra on the TicWatch Pro 3 will it last the test of time 🧐

Also wondering if you have to connect these to a phone 📱 or can the watch run independently without having to connect the two ?

If anyone has any insights I’d much appreciate it.

    Cheers

    • Ended up pulling the trigger did some thorough looking around and some comments have suggested it’s still a bargain for what it is. So hope it lasts a good distance……

    • I use my Ticwatch Pro 3 with the Google Fit app on the watch. There are Ticwatch fitness apps but I've never bothered trying.

I also use Youtube Music on the watch to play directly from the watch to my earbuds so I don't bother taking my phone with me.

      • Thanks heaps for the tips 👍 sounds like a great idea 😎

Quick question please is YouTube Music free or is it a subscription?

I do use YouTube for Music on my phone at times but purely through the YouTube website.

Also wondering is the Google Fit app pretty comprehensive? Sounds like your happy with it 🙂

Cheers again for the tips 👍
