Best Bath Towels Quality and Price

Currently looking to buy towels for our bathroom and it’s so confusing when looking at what brand / store is best.

Many reviews contradict others and so on. So hoping this poll will help!

    I got some towels from adairs, Home Republic, when I moved to the city over 10 years ago and they have been pretty good. One of them has started to fray slightly on the edge recently but they’ve lasted so well I will likely buy another pair when these get a bit worse and need replacing.

    Sheridan outlet is usually reasonable bang for buck

      I find the Sheridan Outlet towels are less absorbent than regular Sheridan.

      I usually use Sheridan Outlet towels, but were gifted some regular Sheridan towels that I found to be much more absorbent.

      I suspect some of the towels there are 'made for outlet'. If you check their websites as well, you'll notice that many outlet styles aren't sold at regular Sheridan, and vice versa. YMMV

        The entire Sheridan Outlet store is 'made for outlet', completely different lines between the two stores. I believe they do sell some main line items through the physical outlet retail stores.

    I mean she buys towels, washes them and hangs them up to dry.
    I stand in the wind till I am dry!

    Daft poll setup as you don't buy the store, you buy the towels - and each store often carries everything from entry level 'Ugh' towels to super plush 'eyewatering priced' towels.

    Just look for a high GSM weight at a good price. :-)

    Fir the price, currently using Adairs. If you're not picky about colours, being a member can easily get you a bath towel for $13.

    Muji are nice and soft.

    But whether towels stay soft depends on how you treat them, wash them etc.

    Linenme, for linen towels. Imagine drying yourself with an oversize teatowel… surprisingly they're really absorbent, much more so than standard cotton towels.
