Bunnings sells a 4kg bag for $29.00 so this is a good price!

      They are different products.

      Amazon one has NPK 28 : 0 : 4.5

      Bunnings has NPK 32:0:8

      • oh yep good pickup there. I saw a green bag of scotts and thought they were the same!

        • Bought one 👍

        which one is better?

        • assuming N stands for nitrogen, I guess bunning's one sounds better. but it's good enough for my lawn.

        • +1

It's the percentage of the product that is nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium respectively.

The Bunnings one clearly has higher percentages of N and K. Without getting all twisted up in soil chemistry (not to mention other differences between brands and products), you should use these percentages as effective "unit prices" for what you are buying.

  • Missed out damn cheap!

Thanks OP got a bag. I live in an apartment but if I ever buy a house with lawn I’ll be ready to go!

    • Or create a lawn on your balcony

  • Glad I missed out on this, I read it as lawn seed. Last time I sprinkled lawn seed out in the backyard the ants nicked most of it by the next day.
