Great prices there going to grab a soapstone I've always wanted the cast iron grill but decided over the years of owning my joe it probably not necessary
Anyone actually have the soapstone? I'm keen on it but not sure if it's worth it- never used anything like it before.
Yes I love mine. It is a good addition to the Kamado and I use it for fish, steaks and some seafood. Some use it for smash burgers but say to put the grill under it so you don't put too much pressure on the soapstone as there have been instances of it cracking. For that price I think it is worthwhile.
Do you have a pair, or just a single half stone? If a pair, do you find you use both much, or a single would do?
@caprimulgus: Just a single. That's all you will need. Only use it for certain food so use it maybe 1 out of 5 cooks and does a family
