      If you want to pay for an extra seat to put this 77cm luggage on. It is too big for overhead compartment or under the seat.

      Weight matters, you can get a cheaper one but not lighter and durable once. Weight is expensive during air travel

        They're pretty good. Maybe not the lightest. I am not a frequent traveller, I bought these to replace the old fabric ones, which were heavier than these. Compare the weight if you want to.

          Literally a key criteria when using on planes. The lighter they are, the less you worry about weight limits, also makes it far easier to carry/wheel around.

            @onlinepred: I never thought of these things when I bought Amazon basic product, we have 30Kg allowed on each seat and 7.5Kg hand carry. The hand carry is the worst, I'll only get 4kg to put in that 52.5cm bag. I can trick the airline, our newborn is having 5kg hand carry allowance, I'll tell them that 5Kg is also packed inside this same bag 😂

        Volume is also important, which neither of the amazon pages tell you. The AT website says the 77cm is 101L.

      Not sure about Amazon basic brands are they any good? , lightweight?

        Amazon one is 72.8cm = 5.54kg
        American T is 77cm = 3.5kg as per one of the reviewer

        You lose about 2Kg of luggage 😂 I am not sure what's the official weight for those 77cm

    I have one of these. The bloody logo popped off when we were wheeling it around on European cobblestones. But otherwise it held up really well. Very easy to spot on the airport carousel. Would recommend.

    Missed this.
    American Tourister is much better value than the over priced Samsonite.
    The Airconic is their lightest range I think.
