this stuff is actually suuuuper strong. i used it to stick some 2x4 onto some laminate flooring that had shifted out of place and then hammered the 2x4 to get it back into place.
I didn't find that to be the case for my use case, hang a holder for the wife's hair straightener in the bathroom. The earlier gorilla double sided tape worked better. However perhaps the issue was it being in the bathroom.
Still, gorilla wet area double sided tape worked better.
