Is Brother software better than Fujitsu one?

I have Fujitsu SnapScan and few things in software are annoying me.

According to Brother website (booklet):
Document Correction: Detect end of page, auto image rotation, background processing, edge fill, skip blank page, margin setting
are Windows only feature.
