Managed to find 2 Wonderbooms for $37.25 even though it said out of stock online and instore. This was the last of their stock. I called all stores close to Melbourne, all said out of stock and sold all earlier today as sale started this morning.
Target is going through a revamp at the moment and a lot of empty shelving. It appears that they will be stocking Anko products moving forward.

Flip essential 2 or Charge essential 2?? either way great score. Flip essential 2 is basically a Flip 5 with a few less minor features but more recent bluetooth version (5.1 vs 4.2 on Flip 5).

spanking deal on a Charge Essential 2 then. that's basically a Charge 5 sound wise with the same woofer+tweeter, amplification, bluetooth 5.1 and battery capacity. they are basically identical in technical specs only thing missing I think is the App compatibility and the ability to pair speakers together to achieve stereo or multi speaker audio.
Charge essential 2 is IPX7 and Charge 5 is IP67, but honestly the waterproof rating is what matters and they are both the same 7. since when did dust kill a speaker?? maybe handy for tradies who play the speaker in a dusty area but for the average person IPX7 waterproof is enough.

Wow. A no brainer at that price. My only caveat is marginal: the motion plus is not for true bass heads but in that case get bigger speakers.

yeah maybe bass heads will need to looks at the Motion Boom Plus. some other more expensive and less obtainable deal similar size options would be the Tribit Stormbox Blast or Xiaomi Bomber.
