    The Aldi one is a soundbar. It does not have a centre channel, nor the Atmos speakers, so not an apples to apples comparison.

    The philips one is junk. They are not the same. You'd be better off with an EKO sound bar from Big W.

    I personally have a LG bar on my main TV, they are good.

      Yeah I spoke too soon plugged it in today. Could not hear a major difference

        Good that you're happy with it, I saw massive stock piles at my Aldi and the sound bar is so short and small.

        I'd still suggest the EKO for people on a budget, at least they have the length for stereo separation.

  I have been trying to sell my Klipsch 600 for less than this for 4 months and nothing, I am not sure anyone buys them!

  Just be aware that if you run a 5ghz wifi network, then the subwoofer will more than likely not work properly (will cut in and out every few seconds).
