Bing Lee is clearing these out and for $50 cheaper than the officeworks deal. Can maybe use this to price beat at officeworks. This might be an ATL for this monitor from what I can see.

@Whodis pointed out that you can get a further $50 off on their eBay listing with code HGTSNS SAVJAN24

  • Can maybe use this to price beat at officeworks

Answer is strictly No. If it’s on clearance, you can’t price beat.

That is a stupid price for a qled AND thunderbolt.

If I actively didn’t want an ultrawide monitor, I’d jump on this.

    For anyone interested:

    Display Resolution (pixel): 3440x1440

    • You can split it down the middle if you want with different inputs, but I'm not sure how well that looks in regards to scaling.

    • The standard ultra wide resolution that is supported by basically everything.

Got it for $800 from OW 2 years back. Never disappointed me.
I use thunderbolt with my mac 16" for work and use HDMI port with firestick lite for media purposes.

Only silly downside is that you can't you USB ports for power when monitor is in standby unlike dell once.

    • Yup i got it for 700 something last year and works great. Happy for playing games too on my ps4. Highly recommended

      • How does PS4 with ultrawide, black bars down the side?

      • Can you split the screen in 2 using only one input ? Ie. Thunderbolt into laptop. And split 34" into "2" windows screens ?

Buy from this listing with HGTSNS for $50 cheaper.

    • Nice works!
Got the monitor 2 years ago for like $850 but I would jump at this price

I have the Monitor and I really like it. In an ideal world I'd get the 49 inch G9 but it's also like $2K+

TBH a silly cons list from RTINGS
Image deteriorates at angles?? Curved monitor are not designed to be used at angles…
HDR! Fair but at this price I wouldn't expect HDR support

  • Can’t see DPI figure on Samsung site?

  • Probably would get if this was usb3

    • Why? TB3 is quite literally better than usb 3 in every way

If I don't have a thunderbolt port can I use this?

  • Also, fyi this is a VA panel

  • I just upgraded from one of these (CF791 not CJ791 but they're basically the same). I wasn't ever able to get FreeSync working but if you can then it'll be a solid gaming monitor. Downside is the resale value is pretty bad due to unusual form factor, and also the stand takes up a lot of space.

  • No VESA mount?

    • There is an adoptor to convert to standard vesa mount

HGTSNS code no longer working, but SAVJAN24 is working and will get you the same discount.
    I just bought 2

    • When i add the monitor to my cart, it shows they wont post to my address, located North of Melbourne, within 30km of CBD.
Just wondering if you had any issues with delivery?
